Summary of Job Duties:
As a receptionist you will greet all patients as they enter the building in a kind, interested, caring, and welcoming manner. You will check patients in. Making sure all credentials are valid and legal. You will then either take the patient to the Budroom or kindly advise them there is a wait and that they may have a seat in our lobby. You are the point of contact for most everything in the store. You will need to answer many questions and or know who to direct the questions to. You will perform daily administrative duties. Screening phone calls, taking messages, directing calls to appropriate personnel. Other duties include handling all Curbside transactions. Including taking orders over the phone, cashing out patients, picking products from the Budroom. Basic cleaning duties will be assigned as well.

The ideal candidate for this role will have open availability for the hours this store is open - Monday thru Friday 8 am to 10 pm.
This is a part time position, working 2-4 shifts per week, depending on what is needed. This person will be trained to be a Budtender and a Front Desk Receptionist, and will be scheduled where needed.
Pay - $14.00/hour, plus a portion of tips received by Budtenders. When you are working a Budtender shift, you will earn tips, and tip out a portion to the Front Desk Receptionist.

Receptionists and Budtenders at Oregrown are on the front line when it comes to customers and they must represent the company in a professional manner. They are the cannabis expert that the novice needs as well as a fellow head for experienced consumers.
A successful budtender becomes a mind-reader, able to let the customer’s goals direct their recommendation, creating repeat customers and fostering an inclusive environment, where customers come, not just to buy the best cannabis, but to see their friends!
A successful receptionist works with sales staff to control the flow of the store. They are able to maintain compliance while fostering a welcoming, friendly environment. Receptionists use computers and technical skills to maintain online menus and specials, along with running the express lane for in-store and curbside pickups.
The right candidate will be trustworthy, friendly, and have a deep knowledge of cannabis. A willing attitude to work and to continue learning how to become a better person is essential. Concise communication skills, the ability to learn quickly, and fantastic listening skills are also imperative.
This job requires a self-motivated individual. Weekends, nights, and holiday work will be required. As we are a retail establishment that is open 365 days a year, a dedicated team willing to work when necessary is crucial to the success of the business.
Acute attention to detail will help the business to remain compliant. Knowledge of the daily limits and how to calculate them per customer will be necessary.
*Current OLCC Marijuana Handler’s card is required.
Previous experience with cannabis is required.
