The Role
LeafLink is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our team and contribute to building and designing various user experiences and concepts across our B2B applications.
As a LeafLink Product Designer, you and your teammates will work to ensure that LeafLink offers its customers a world class on platform experience by building out responsive and consistent experiences powered by our design system. You will interact with various colleagues, such as product managers and engineers, as well as customers to validate that designs meet intended goals and workflows.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a cross-disciplinary team to deliver amazing experiences that drive value for both our customers and our business
- Participate in all phases of the product design process: user research, concept development, visual design and prototyping for various portions of the LeafLink B2B platform
- Contribute to the building of the LeafLink Design system
- Interact with customers to gather, analyze, and translate product feedback into optimized user experiences
- Make informed design decisions based on data, user analytics, screen recordings and similar measurements to indicate adoption and engagement
- Work closely with teammates to validate and QA design implementation to ensure accuracy and responsiveness
- Familiarize yourself with the rapidly changing cannabis industry and its needs & demands as well as paradigm defining designs for innovative B2B platforms
Qualifications
- 4-5+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer for an e-commerce, enterprise, or SaaS software product
- Great communicator, highly collaborative and experienced working in an agile process
- Able to understand product insights from various stakeholders, translating them into great experiences
- Adept at using both quantitative and qualitative data to articulate your design decisions
- Skilled at designing responsive web apps across multiple viewports
- Experienced designing with and contributing to design systems and component libraries that power multiple applications
- Experienced working with industry standard tools such as Figma (preferred), Sketch, or similar.
- Understanding of HTML and CSS

You Have:
- 3+ years of experience in product design
- A strong portfolio showing excellence in visual design, interaction design, typography, and information hierarchy, with an emphasis on clean yet delightful UIs

- Superb visual and interaction design skills; but you're also comfortable talking about systems and strategies
- A strong understanding of design thinking and product thinking framework
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
- Thinking in scalable systems, not one-off solutions
- Experience designing for business and consumer products across different devices
- Proficient in design tools e.g. Figma, Sketch, Adobe Suite; as well prototyping tools e.g., Axure, Flinto, InVision. At Jane we primarily use Figma.
- Experience participating in user experience research and usability studies.
- Familiarity with front-end programming – you should know which parts of your design require HTML, CSS, or JavaScript as well as how they impact or are affected by the back-end.

- Conduct user research both in-person and online with curiosity to gain the information needed to solve ambiguous problems.
- Synthesize research data in a way that tells a story and compels our team to have empathy and understanding for our user’s needs, wants, and desires.
