Support Specialist - Integrated Payments
Our growing company is seeking to hire an Integrated Payments Support Specialist who will be responsible for supporting our portfolio of customers on integrated electronic payments. You will be responsible for supporting the entirety of BLAZE integrated payments products, managing inbound support inquiries, and ensuring ongoing customer success (in partnership with other support teams).
You will also be responsible for helping existing customers maximize the value provided by BLAZE payments programs by proactive outreach to identify opportunities to improve. The right person will have experience in support and demonstrate great listening ability with a natural propensity to empathize & problem solve well.
Support Specialist - Integrated Payments Responsibilities:
- Manage & resolve inbound support inquiries through phone, email, or chat within Zendesk
- Update internal and external troubleshooting guides for payments systems, configurations, and hardware
- Escalate issues to integration partners if/as appropriate
- Proactively utilize payments data to effectively advise customers on how to improve their performance on BLAZE payments programs
Account Executive (Integrated Payments) Requirements:
- 1+ years of customer service or support experience
- Must be experienced in maintaining detailed records in Support or CRM systems
- Excellent listening and empathy skills
- Ability to remain calm in potentially stressful situations
- Proactive with heavy ownership of customer delight
- Cannabis retail experience is a plus but not required

Job Description

You will be responsible for accurate data entry, invoicing, file maintenance, and record keeping.
You will be responsible for the reconciliation of customer accounts and perform business to business collections. This position collects on receivable balances, reconciles customer accounts, and maintains accurate records of such reconciliation.

- Identify customer deductions and short payments, and process or dispute as needed
- Validate and dispute or clear deductions/short payments related to fines by researching information provided
- Contact clients with past due invoices, exercising considerable judgment, professionalism, and tact.

Job Summary

Job Summary
As a Senior Product Designer at BLAZE, you will lead design projects of substantial impact to customers, deep in complexity and meticulously dissected by engineers and stakeholders. BLAZE is looking for a Tier 1 Tech Support Agent for our software solutions in a rapidly expanding client base. Regional Compliance Analyst
BLAZE, a leading ERP provider for the cannabis industry, is seeking a qualified Regional Compliance Analyst to assist our compliance team in tracking regional compliance goals for BLAZE and researching the compliance regulations in existing and emerging markets.
Reporting to the Compliance Manager, the Regional Compliance Analyst will be an integral part of the BLAZE team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional problem-solving skills, excel at prioritizing workloads, have solid attention to detail, with the ability to work well both as a team and independently.
Responsibilities will include the monitoring of regional compliance, organizing Trello to communicate the key points of state-by-state compliance, and authoring product spec documents to outline needed features to improve compliance; requiring a detail-oriented individual with the ability to take initiative.
Job Responsibilities
- Assisting the Compliance Manager in tracking cannabis regulations and statutes to ensure our software is up-to-date and reliable.
- Tracking the development team’s progress on compliance tasks and helping communicate updates internally.
- Assisting with testing of new additions to the software, to assure our product is compliant and intuitive.
- Autor regional compliance summaries for internal reference.
- Writing and updating instructional help-desk articles for clients to understand how to properly utilize BLAZE for optimal compliance.
- Monitoring industry news for regulatory developments as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.
- Assisting the Compliance Manager in tracking State and Metrc compliance bulletins to make sure the team is aware of all upcoming changes in requirements that would relate to our software.
- Assisting the Compliance Manager in creating and updating product spec documents for our development team.
- Prepare reports and SOPs for management as needed.
- Help the Compliance Manager as we expand into new, global markets!
Ideal Candidate
You are someone with attention to detail and a drive to succeed. You are interested in developing a career in the cannabis industry and technology compliance. You are comfortable on the phone or in-person asking questions and getting results. You are passionate about what you do, a self-starter, and looking to go above and beyond to win. Cannabis Industry experience is preferred.
Qualifications
- Associates degree or strong work experience
- Prior experience in ERP, payment processing, and/or SaaS technology
- Ability to effectively communicate ideas and explain problems
- Familiar with SOP’s
- Experience working within a regulated industry
- Organized and self-sufficient
- Strong attention to detail
- Passion for cannabis and technology
- Previous cannabis industry experience preferred but not required
Nice-to-Haves
- Previous work experience in an early-stage company and knowledge of how to navigate and be successful in a startup environment
- Deep understanding of the cannabis industry and compliance
- Bilingual in Spanish
