We are looking for someone to assume leadership as our Regional Trainer. The Regional Trainer will be responsible for improving the productivity of the organization's employees. This position assesses company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identifies and arranges suitable training solutions for employees. This position actively searches, creatively designs and implements effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance.
Duties/Responsibilities
Conducts periodic training and development needs assessment. Develops training and development content, programs and objectives. Administers spending against the departmental budget. Obtains and /or develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of media. Trains and coaches onsite trainers, managers, supervisors and others involved in employee development efforts. Plans, organizes, facilitates and orders supplies for employee development and training events. Develops and maintains organizational communications such as intranet bulletin boards and newsletters to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources. Develops and maintains relationships with cultivators to assist in the further education of staff Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results. Modifies programs as needed. Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization. Works effectively as a team member with other members of management, Human Resources, and
Operations.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field. Five years of experience designing and implementing employee development programs. Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Regional Trainer will be responsible for guiding new and existing retail locations on One Plant standards and expectations. Under the leadership of our Regional Training Manager, this role will work cross functionally with team members across Retail, Human Resources, Compliance and Marketing. You will be subject matter expert in all Retail Dispensary positions and ensure a consistent patient experience across your region.
The ideal candidate must possess a strong attention to detail, thrive in a fast-paced environment and have previous experience in leading retail training. The position requires initiative, perseverance, organizational skills, flexibility, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide expert guidance to all Training staff including customer service, strategy, operations, & product.
Proactively mitigate business, operational & governance risks.
Maintain and enforce a culture of compliance for all activities with strict adherence to the Florida Statues for THC and CBD products, as well as regulations set forth by local, state and federal agencies such as OSHA.

New Store Openings:
Work in partnership with the New Store Opening Director and project management teams for new store orientation, and training.

Schedule and facilitate new store team training schedule coordinating with Retail Managements, Human Resources and other key stakeholders to ensure best in class onboarding.

Track completion of training activities and evaluate performance of managers-in-training and addresses opportunities through coaching and feedback. Ensure all trainees have demonstrated the ability to meet performance standards and One Plant expectations.
Maintains practical subject matter expertise in all retail positions as well as familiarity and understanding of Florida cannabis laws and regulations.
Support the creation and ongoing updates to company retail training policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, job aids, etc. that will have a lasting impact on our future success and growth of One Plant's training infrastructure for medical cannabis dispensaries.
Assist in creating, revising, and continually update curriculum to facilitate strategic training of sales, customer service, and all operational training programs for Florida retail locations based on One Plant standards and expectations.
