Distribution Manager
Full time position for an Inventory and Distribution Manager for Cannabis company on location in Richmond, CA. Reports to the Director of Operations and will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on our company’s inventory and purchasing needs. This position requires attention to detail, a passion for process and a drive for results. You will be responsible for developing inventory tracking systems, ordering products for two retail locations, reviewing supply levels, and performing daily analysis.
- Design and implement an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures
- Examine stock levels to determine shortages and determine purchasing needs
- Document and track deliveries and shipments to update inventory
- Prepare detailed reports to document sales trends, stock levels, inventory adjustments, product performance and inventory shrinkage
- Develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce excess surplus
- Work with purchasing committee to onboard new products
- Analyze different suppliers to procure the most cost effective products
- Recruit and train new inventory team members
- Lead monthly inventory counts and reconciliation
- Lead weekly cycle counts of various product categories
- Determine and maintain appropriate inventory levels between backstock and retail floor stock
- Procure and separate inventory for distribution to 2nd location
- Work within METRC, state mandated inventory tracking software
Requirements

Job Description:
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for receiving, organizing, maintaining and reporting inventory of all products for a busy retail cannabis dispensary. Our ideal candidate for this position is someone detail oriented, well organized and accountable. The Inventory Specialist works closely with the Inventory Manager to ensure accuracy of all inventory audits and cycle counts. Responsible for the accurate entry of Invoices and Purchase Orders into METRC and the POS. Responsible for controlling access to inventory storage areas and work spaces. Responsible for cleanliness and organization of all inventory work areas.
Responsibilities:

- Apply POS stickers to packages

Dispensary Manager
Dispensary Manager will be a part of the Management team led by the General Manager. They will help train, develop, and hire new employees, as well as continuing to improve standard operating procedures. This position requires attention to detail, a passion for process, a drive for results, and the ability to lead and influence in the high-regulated and compliance-focused cannabis industry.
- Work closely with GM for directives and goals
- Work with management team to develop and meet sales goals
- Keep store stocked with business supplies
- Keep store clean and organized
- Follow up on side work and cleaning duties for closing and opening staff
- Keep all technology updated and working properly
- Assist GM with employee appraisals, hiring , discipline, terminations

- Closing and opening duties, drawer and bank reconciliation
- Work with Delivery Supervisor for all things delivery related (supplies, scheduling, etc..)
- Schedule and lead meetings with Supervisors
- Walk floor, greet customers

- Assist on inventory counts and reconcile EOM (Once a month late nights required)
- Mentor and develop all subordinate positions
- Paperwork filing and office organization
- Run POS system on retail floor, make voids and inventory manipulations
- Attend and participate in biweekly meetings
