- Traveling to licensed retail dispensary/store locations for assigned events.
- Setting up and breaking-down in-store Demo displays.
- Participating in Pre-event Strategy & Post-event Debriefing Calls.
- Facilitating in-store Demo Days, Consumer Workshops, and occasional Staff Members’ education.
- Securing Product Sample Kits.
- Capturing and reporting on in-store inventory, merchandising, pricing and sales-related data.
- Building a database of consumer contact information from customers that want to opt-in to receiving our promotional product offers and special event notifications.
- Coordinating and confirming delivery of event materials.
Primary Responsibilities
- Representing Biscotti and Tutti brands at dispensaries/retail locations and other events.
- Becoming a Subject Matter Expert in Biscotti & Tutti cannabis products.
- Being comfortable sharing brand message and product-related information.
- Being on-site and on-time for and all scheduled in-store Demos and Workshops as well as any assigned Special Events and training sessions.
- Securing, storing, transporting, distributing and maintaining inventory levels of company provided Demo Kits, Marketing Collateral, SWAG and Promotional Gift Items.
- Tracking and reporting all In-store Demo Days and other Special Event activities as per company standards.
- Timely reporting and tracking of all Sample Requests and Sample offerings.
- Completing the set up and tear down of in-store Demo Days and Special Event site elements.
- Tracking performance of Demos, inventory, and collecting customer feedback.
- Maintaining professional conduct and personal appearance in-line with company standards.
- Building strong relationships with customers and retail personnel.
- Completing all required Reports and submitting all necessary information within the company’s required timeframes.
- Responding well under pressure and adapting to changing situations.
- Maintaining a positive image of the Biscotti and Tutti brands at all times.
- General knowledge and ability to support Social Media campaigns by taking event photos and sharing with Customer Support supervisor for postings on social media sites.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements – Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Experience)
- Basic knowledge of the cannabis/marijuana industry.
- Familiarity with cannabis dispensaries throughout Northern California.
- Prior event and/or promotional marketing or sales experience is a plus, however, not required.
- Must have strong customer service experience serving and supporting internal and external customers.
- Sales experience and a demonstrated track-record of accomplishments:
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with a diverse range of people.
- Bi-lingual is a plus.
- Professional demeanor and the ability to maintain confidential information.
- Energetic and confident in engaging with others including retail store personnel and consumers.
- Regular physical activity is required, e.g. setting up displays, promotional materials, able to lift to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
- Must have unlimited access to a reliable and insured vehicle that meets the State’s requirements.
- Must be willing to work evenings, weekends and some holidays.
- Must be at least 21-years of age.
