We need energetic and organized B2B Sales Representative within the Greater Sacramento Area to create sales results within the licensed cannabis industry for an assigned territory. You are an experienced Sales Representative within the licensed cannabis industry with a track-record of meeting and achieving sales goals. WHAT YOU’RE GOOD AT:

We are based in San Francisco, California, and are looking for Independent Contractor - Brand Ambassadors to support the Greater San Francisco, Vallejo, and East Bay market areas. This role is an Independent Contractor role that interacts with in-store retail dispensary customers and employees and is an exciting growth-oriented opportunity to build upon your cannabis industry knowledge, professional sales, and customer service experience while learning and/or expanding your knowledge of the licensed Cannabis industry. This role is a field-based remote (home-based) role and candidates need to provide their own insured and registered transportation, have a valid Driver’s License, and be at least 21-years old.
Required Hours: Hours vary based on the individual project assignment ranging from 1-4 hours per event. Typically, events are conducted on Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday, however, they may be scheduled for other days of the week. The time allotment for each event includes; event setup, data gathering, conducting the event, and event break-down. Top-performing Independent Contractor Brand Ambassadors receive more booking opportunities for events. Independent Contractor Brand Ambassadors receive a flat fee pay rate for each event and are not compensated for travel time. Typically, a 1-hour Event pays $23, a 2-hour Event pays $46, a 3-hour Event pays $69, 4-hour Event pays $92, etc.

We are looking for outgoing and engaging sales and service professionals that enjoy working independently at different locations and who may desire to supplement their current income by being part of our Independent Contractor network of Brand Ambassadors. This role is responsible for promoting, educating, and selling our products to current and future customers within licensed retail dispensaries/stores. At times, you may be called upon to educate in-store personnel, as well as to participate in public and privately-held special events and other industry-related events.

Brand Ambassadors need to be at least 21-years old and be service-oriented, a self-starter, driven/self-motivated, and organized, while being committed to excellence, and having a high level of cannabis product knowledge and consumer engagement experience. You will be the face of our company by preparing and delivering promotional, educational and sales-focused Consumer Demos at various locations. You are responsible for fostering brand awareness, educating retail consumers, capturing consumer contact information, monitoring in-store price-points and inventory levels, and reporting the results of in-store Demos.
Key Responsibilities
- Traveling to licensed retail dispensary/store locations for assigned events.
- Setting up and breaking-down in-store Demo displays.
- Confirming scheduled events with store personnel.
- Facilitating in-store Demo Days, Consumer Workshops, and occasional Staff Members’ education.
- Securing Product Sample Kits.
- Capturing and reporting on in-store inventory, merchandising pricing, and sales-related data.
- Building a database of consumer contact information from customers that want to opt-in to receiving our promotional product offers and special event notifications.
- Coordinating and confirming delivery of event materials.
Primary Responsibilities
- Representing Biscotti and Tutti brands at dispensaries/retail locations and other events.
- Becoming a Subject Matter Expert in Biscotti & Tutti branded cannabis products.
- Be comfortable sharing brand messaging and product-related information.
- Being on-site and on-time for all scheduled in-store Demos and Workshops as well as any assigned Special Events and training sessions.
- Securing, storing, transporting, distributing, and maintaining inventory levels of company-provided Demo Kits, Marketing Collateral, SWAG, and Promotional Gift Items.
- Tracking and reporting all In-store Demo Days and other Special Event activities as required.
- Timely reporting and tracking of all Sample Requests and Sample offerings.
- Completing the setup and tear down of in-store Demo Days and Special Event site elements.
- Tracking performance of Demos, inventory, and collecting customer feedback.
- Maintaining professional conduct and personal appearance in-line with company standards.
- Building strong relationships with customers and retail personnel.
- Completing all required Reports and submitting all necessary documentation, receipts, and other information within the company’s required timeframes.
- Responding well under pressure and adapting to changing situations.
- Maintaining a positive image of the Biscotti and Tutti brands at all times.
- General knowledge and ability to support Social Media campaigns by taking event photos and sharing them with the company.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements – Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Experience)
- Strong knowledge of the cannabis/marijuana industry.
- Familiarity with cannabis dispensaries throughout Northern California.
- Prior event and/or promotional marketing or sales experience is a plus, however, not required.
- Must have strong customer service experience serving and supporting internal and external customers.
- Sales experience and a demonstrated track record of accomplishments:
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with a diverse range of people.
- Bi-lingual is a plus.
- Professional demeanor and the ability to maintain confidential information.
- Energetic and confident in engaging with others including retail store personnel and consumers.
- Regular physical activity is required, e.g. setting up displays, promotional materials, able to lift to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
- Must have unlimited access to a reliable and insured vehicle that meets the State’s requirements.
- Must be willing to work evenings, weekends and some holidays.
- Must be at least 21-years of age.

Requirements – Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Experience)

· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related discipline or related experience.
