Job Title: Talent Acquisition & Employment Brand Manager
Reports to: Vice President of Human Resources
Location: Denver, CO
Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000
Position Objective:
We are looking for a highly motivated, engaged, committed individual with relevant Human Resources experience that has an interest to work in the emerging cannabis industry. The primary objective of this position is to help drive our Employer Value Proposition and Employment Brand strategy to attract, hire and retain top talent. This role will be responsible for creating and executing the recruitment strategy for all divisions of the organization, to ensure that vacancies are filled, while proactively sourcing and building a pipeline of future talent for Schwazze. This role will be responsible for creating a consistent and exciting candidate experience that will enable a highly effective onboarding process for new hires. This position will lead the strategy to drive candidate flow through innovative measures such as employee videos, job fair campaigns, social media, etc… to reduce the time to fill, while focusing on finding candidates with a strong cultural fit for the organization. This is a “hands on” position that requires extensive interaction and visibility within all levels of the organization.
Essential Functions:
Partners with management to understand and execute the team’s staffing standards and strategy as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention and succession planning.
Partners with the marketing department to collaborate and establish a consistent employer brand strategy that can be utilized as a unified strategy to promote the Schwazze employer brand and reputation as directed.
Effectively leads Talent Acquisition Partners to execute talent acquisition strategy for assigned teams.
Primary recruiter for Corporate Support Center and other identified key roles. Provides overflow support to the talent acquisition partners, as needed.
Generates recruitment related insights that convey a story, highlighting workforce trends, turnover/retention, market overviews and Schwazze Employer Branding statistics using recruitment related tools such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, etc…Uses analytics and insights to create ongoing metrics and KPI’s to be reviewed with company leadership.
Guide field leaders to hire and onboard talent with the right skills and experience to consistently deliver on Schwazze standards of excellence and company values.
Provides thought leadership and executes DEI strategy to drive engagement and inclusivity throughout the Schwazze organization through listening forums, employee engagement opportunities and educational forums to support an inclusive culture that creates a sense of belonging throughout all divisions of Schwazze.
Role will focus on DEI strategy and execution, partnering with the business to understand their needs and creating customized offerings to the organization to be an Employer of Choice and Top Workplace in the area of DEI efforts.
Support the development, implementation and adoption of the company HRMS technology as a tool for executing and evaluating processes that support employee lifecycle management, specifically recruitment and onboarding.
Owns Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and compliance efforts to ensure hiring and posting processes are compliant and in line with company policy.
Effectively leads and executes company engagement strategy to effectively influence culture in a positive manner, while partnering with the business to execute action plans resulting from employee feedback through the engagement survey process.
Develops and executes recruiting marketing strategy to effective source and recruit top talent at all levels of the organization.
You’ll act as a brand ambassador in the employer marketplace, telling the story of Schwazze and showing candidates the true employee experience to attract and retain top talent.
Education and Experience Required:
Experience with talent acquisition and recruitment is required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
Prior experience supporting multiple locations, departments, divisions
Experience creating, administering and executing HR policies and procedures related to the recruitment function
Experience in creating new hire onboarding materials, training and facilitating new employee events
Prior experience leading DEI efforts, with a focus on employee engagement
Prior experience supporting, creating or executing an employer brand strategy preferred
Prior leadership experience preferred
Experience as an HR Generalist or HRBP preferred
Knowledge and Other Required Qualifications:
Prior experience in a fast-paced corporate and/or start-up environment

What you'll do
Develop brand positioning, brand essence, and brand identity for Altria's new employment brand. You will build a coordinated marketing campaign inclusive of the creative, copy, and collateral to support the brand as a critical attraction tool for Altria for experienced hires, campus recruiting, diversity outreach, and manufacturing positions.
