Position Summary:
Under the direction of the DGT Owner-Manager, the Marketing and Advertising
Director demonstrates experience, enthusiasm, knowledge and skills in
developing “innovative” campaigns and events which market DGT’s Cannabis
business products. The Marketing Director will identify marketing strategies that
can attract new Cannabis clients in order to create and sustain returning
customers who are loyal to the DGT brand. The Marketing and Advertising
Director will also be able to create advertising materials both on social media and in
print that engage customers as well as be able to market the ideal customer
experience in the DGT retail store.
Responsibilities will include:
- Building client loyalty to the DGT Cannabis brand through cutting edge advertisement campaigns
- Demonstrating prior Cannabis industry marketing, promotions and advertising experience
- Using Graphic Design advertising skills
- Promoting Mobile campaigns
- Utilizing knowledge about Cannabis advertising restrictions in marketing promotions

We need a person for the position of Director of Advertising Sales for CannaSOS. You should clearly understand that CannaSOS is a social network developed primarily for the cannabis industry, and you will have to work with businesses that operate in the industry. You will NOT be dealing directly with the sale of cannabis. If you like cannabis, great, but that does not mean that you will be selected for the position.

The company requires a person who will organize and monitor sales of digital advertising in the territory of the United States of America and Canada. You will be required to control and lead Sales Reps located throughout the country, but the selling of digital advertising will be done all across North America. You, just like the Reps, work remotely. You will not be the only DOAS in the company, but you will be working separately from them.
You have to understand that although we provide you with an already built foundation, with team members, you will have to build your department from the ground up. We understand it is not easy, and you will need to allocate 100% of your time to this task. As the Director of Advertising Sales for CannaSOS, you will be responsible for making sure the Sales Department is aligned to these goals. You will recruit, hire, train, develop, and lead your own US sales team. The ideal candidate will look forward to helping their team develop strategies and action plans to help clients achieve success. The successful candidate will have excellent relationship building and communication skills, with the ability to manage local and remote sales staff.
The Director of Advertising Sales will report directly to the Co-founder and Director of Business Development, and will have responsibilities to generate weekly, monthly, quarterly sales KPIs and achieve defined objectives. Motivate staff to make proactive decisions and take ownership of communications with clients, prospecting and funnel development. Implement a sales training and orientation program to educate new hires as our company grows. Define segment or industry verticals, work with inbound lead handling, opportunity analysis, presentations, client communications, proposal generation, negotiations, client contracting and activation. But again, we have already built the foundation and will share with you all the documents and programs that have been created.
How does the company compensate the Director?
The DOA will be operating on a commission basis for the first 3 months (probationary period). You will also receive Class B Shares of the company every month during the probationary period. After this period, we will sign a new 12-month contract with a fixed compensation, commission, and bonuses. Based on our forecasted calculations, DOA, combining both probation and non-probation periods, is expected to receive a full payout of anywhere from $146,000 - $210,000 for building a team of 3 Sales Reps that will be meeting minimum sales quotas. Commissions begin at 20% and gradually decreases to 14% as the sales surpass $100,000, $200,000, and $400,000/month. The larger the deal, the larger the commission percentage. We expect you to start off making sales yourselves, as this will allow you to 100% be certain how the sales process works. After the probationary period, you will be offered a new contract with a fixed compensation ranging based on your performance.
