Job Title: Marketing and Advertising Director
Wage: $27-$30.00 Hr.

Position Summary:
Under the direction of the DGT Owner-Manager, the Marketing and Advertising
Director demonstrates experience, enthusiasm, knowledge and skills in
developing “innovative” campaigns and events which market DGT’s Cannabis
business products. The Marketing Director will identify marketing strategies that
can attract new Cannabis clients in order to create and sustain returning
customers who are loyal to the DGT brand. The Marketing and Advertising
Director will also be able to create advertising materials both on social media and in
print that engage customers as well as be able to market the ideal customer
experience in the DGT retail store.
Responsibilities will include:
- Building client loyalty to the DGT Cannabis brand through cutting edge advertisement campaigns
- Demonstrating prior Cannabis industry marketing, promotions and advertising experience
- Using Graphic Design advertising skills
- Promoting Mobile campaigns
- Utilizing knowledge about Cannabis advertising restrictions in marketing promotions
- Identifying and displaying proven marketing strategies that increase customer satisfaction in shopping for Cannabis at DGT
- Demonstrating innovative ways to market DGT’s presence in the community through social media
- Coordinating events that have a direct impact on increasing customer sales
- Engaging customers through the creation of an innovative continuous social media presence
- Creating and promoting DGT ads through social media channels
- Advising about materials that should not be posted because they will get shadow banned
- Working with the Sales Manager to increase average customer spend and retention campaigns
- Developing and promoting email and texting campaigns
- Presenting marketing methods designed to sustain DGT brand loyalty
- Understanding reasons for DGT CHURN rates
- Devising ways to reduce CHURN rates
- Measuring key performance metrics related to CHURN and retention
- Demonstrating superior abilities in using data analytics to pin-point proven strategies to present information that connects with specific customer needs
- Sponsoring and presenting organized and sought-after customer events that are well attended and increase customer sales
- Communicating with Sales Manager about best ways to sustain customer loyalty
- Providing retail feedback on the most attractive way to lay out products in
- the store for maximum customer appeal
- Working with Purchasing Manager to pinpoint selective products for
- promotion to increase margins
- Working collaboratively with purchasing and sales managers to discuss data on product information for best sales opportunities
- Collecting data about customer service trends in the area to inform about ways to increase customer retention and appeal to new customers
- Recording and responding to customer complaints in order to regain their loyalty to return to DGT
- Reporting retail increase in sales or decrease after promoting events
- Reporting directly to the Owner-Manager about proven ways to increase product sales
- Identifying best practices for marketing and advertising
- Creating and promoting expertly through social media channels
- Understanding customer lifetime spend and recognizing which advertising
- campaigns provide value
- Demonstrating the ability to create successful advertising campaigns within an assigned budget
