POSITION TITLE: Payroll and Benefits Specialist
POSITION STATUS: Full Time Exempt (Salary)
POSITION RANGE OF PAY: $55,000- $65,000 per year
Job Description:
The Payroll and Benefits Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for multiple entities as a member of the Human Resources team. This position is responsible for assisting with benefits administration, reconciliation, and reporting. This position works closely with the rest of the HR team, as well as interfacing with the accounting department and others within the organization. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, organized, and possess strong collaborative communication skills.
Core Responsibilities:
Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:
- Process bi-weekly multi-entity payroll.
- Process one off payroll items.
- Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
- Process off cycle payroll as needed (i.e. terminations or urgent pay issues).
- Understand proper taxation of various earnings and deductions.
- Assist Managers with timecard questions and issues.
- Maintain and setup garnishments and child support orders, confirm deductions.
- Maintain respect for employee privacy and keep confidentiality of wages and other privileged information.
- Maintain and document all payroll records.
- Assist accounting to record payroll to general ledger and assist with reconciliation as needed
- Point of contact for general payroll inquiries and issues.
- Reconcile benefit statements to enrollment data and accounting system.
- Work with Human Resources and Accounting to resolve benefit discrepancies.
- Request and document spouse and dependent certifications for all life change events and new hires.
- Assist and act as backup with the management of leaves of absence, workers comp administration and UI claims administration.
- Responsible for reviewing and assisting with employee benefit compliance including leave of absence, worker's compensation reporting, etc.
- Maintain organized electronic employee files for all entities ensuring compliance standards.
- Shoes for crews ordering, tracking, and reporting.
- Retail HR Support – Order, distribute and ensure all compliance notices are updated and posted as required by federal guidelines.
- Ensure the service provided by the Payroll and Benefits division of the HR department emulates a supportive business partnership, excellent internal customer service, and alignment with company culture.
- Other HR, Payroll, and Benefits related projects as assigned by Total Rewards Manager (assist with yearly open enrollment, yearly eligibility review, I-9 audits etc.)

- Use brand guidelines to formulate an annual B2C and B2B event and sponsorship program including both large- and small-scale type activations
- Develop, manage, and oversee all aspects of the brands and dispensary’s charitable initiatives and programs, working closely with program staff to ensure there is reciprocal investment and meaningful stewardship activities
- Execute all event logistics such as scheduling BAs, set-up/breakdown times, booth location, ticket giveaways, calendar invites, promo details and event assets needed as well as post-event recaps
- Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order
- Conduct final inspections on the day of the event to ensure everything adheres to brand standards
- Potential for monthly travel to & from events during weekdays, after hours, and weekends. On-site event work hours to be mutually agreed upon.

Job Description:
Sol Flower is seeking team-oriented security professionals that possess superior customer service skills because safely serving our patients is our number one priority! Sol Flower’s security team strives to provide safeguards and solutions to properly operate the business by providing on-site security and compliance services.
The Security Officer position prevents unauthorized visitors, provides general building security and assists with the physical collection of company assets from multiple locations as assigned; completes related work as required. Security persons promote order and provide visible presence that deters safety issues. Security officers greet patients with a friendly attitude and offer excellent customer service.
Core Responsibilities:
Ensure access to the enclosed, locked facility is limited to the dispensary’s principle officers, board members, and Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Maintain a post or security checkpoint and ensure all employees and visitors have proper identification.
- Greets members of the public and ascertains their business in the building or section of the building.
- Regularly patrols the exterior and interior of the facility.
- Regularly check facilities doors, windows, heating and cooling systems, an any other potential entry access points.
- Provides security presence for a building or section of a building.
- Visually screens individuals passing through secure checkpoints.
- Maintain daily reporting logs.
- Monitor security and alarm systems.

PATIENT ADVOCATE RESPONSIBLITIES:
Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:
- Greet all patients when entering the dispensary with compassion and professionalism.
- Check patient’s state allowance with Arizona Department of Health Services Verification System.
- Accurately enter patient information into our database system.
- Provide exceptional customer service and process transactions.
- Quickly and precisely handle cash and debit transactions while always maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
- Listen with the intent to understand to make appropriate product recommendations.
- Possess excellent mathematical skills.
- Clean, stock, and organize dispensary.
- Conduct inventory counts of all dispensary products as needed by inventory management.
