The Marketing Communications Coordinator will provide a strong passion for communication, strategy, branding, and execution for a wide range of marketing deliverables. This individual’s main responsibilities will be to coordinate and execute the brand’s communication and content plans that support the brand goals for Sol Flower dispensaries as well as accounts across Arizona. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in the creation of annual content and communication plans to support launches and brand goals
- Oversee brand content strategy on all communication platforms such as social, website, email, advertising, marketplaces, and PR
- Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables, and provide instructions for use or promotion
- Spearhead creative briefs and timelines for brand campaigns and affiliated collateral material
- Conduct research to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape, and prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
- Oversee social media agency as well as work with photographers and videographers
- Evaluating and establishing the marketing plan and strategy by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts, setting objectives, planning and organizing promotional presentations, and updating calendars
- Continually seek and research new sources of prospective customer data, and provide recommendations to sales and marketing leadership
- Analyze sales weekly, monthly and YoY data to help forecast consumer and sales trends to maintain a competitive edge with brand development, promotions, and marketing plans
- Coordinate all communication and customer support for incoming customer complaints, product defects, etc.
- Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation
- Coordinate with Sr. Director of Marketing to ensure flowchart, budget, and billings are in alignment with marketing communications and plans
- Any other duties assigned by management, as applicable

Job Description
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will work with the marketing and brand team to ensure the organization and utilization of marketing materials and brand initiatives in market. The ideal candidate is a highly organized “doer” lending them the ability to dig in and solve problems in real time. Though reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, this role will rely on the team member’s ability to function within the company ecosystem to benefit overarching goals. Strong organizational and communication skills are critical to assisting the Marketing team in communicating across teams (with the executives, sales, and operations). Responsibilities
- Play a key role in in communicating the marketing initiatives and programs across teams by scheduling and running intercompany meetings, capturing notes and action items, and acting as the Marketing team’s “key person on the ground” in ensuring brand and marketing strategies are executed as drawn up
- Track the marketing budget in conjunction with the Director of Marketing, ensuring each item has been accounted for in the overall budget
- Support brand and marketing activities and launches by assembling, managing inventory of, and distributing materials and assets
- Maintain a comprehensive sampling program in conjunction with both sales and marketing, ensuring both deployment as well as tracking.
- Assist the brand and marketing team in conducting market research and reporting on the success of sales and marketing activities
Requirements
- 1-2 Years relevant experience
- Valid driver’s license
- College degree preferred
- Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in microsoft office (word, excel, PPT) and google workspace
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs
- Over 21 years old
- Ability to work within the compliant cannabis market
