Lowell Herb Co. is looking for a Copywriter to support efforts across the Marketing Department. This interdisciplinary role will collaborate with multiple teams to write, edit and research copy for a variety of marketing initiatives (email communication, social media, press releases, site content and more).
You’ll also be included in creative ideation and helping us think of fresh new ways to communicate our brand.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for creating relevant and meaningful communications across marketing channels
- Develop clear, consistent messaging with a tone and style that reflects the Lowell Herb Co brand and culture
- Support e-commerce with engaging site copy and email marketing content
- Conceptualize ideas and write copy for various social platforms in collaboration with the social team
- Review and proofread press releases and marketing communication for accuracy and adherence to brand standards
- Ensure quality/accuracy of marketing materials and the timely coordination/completion of projects
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, marketing, advertising, or related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Portfolio showing writing samples across multiple channels
- Excellent communication, problem solving and time-management skills
- Ability to develop clear, concise copy that mirrors our brand voice
- Ability to collaborate effectively and follow up to ensure achievement of deadlines and results
- Cannabis experience is a plus

Lowell Herb Co. is currently looking for a Social Media Manager. This person will be responsible for the development and execution of Lowell's social media strategy, including the promotion of regular content, amplification of our brand identity, and growth of our engaged community across social platforms. This position requires a proven professional with excellent communication skills, a high level of attention to detail, capable of meeting tight deadlines, great organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple critical tasks.
*Social media is a key component of our marketing and this role will also contribute to overall marketing strategies and help us think of fresh new ways to communicate our brand.*
*Duties and Responsibilities
- Expand audiences across the Lowell social channels by attracting new followers and transforming current followers into brand advocates
- Grow Lowell's social presence to new platforms (including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube,TikTok and other emerging platforms)
- Devise unique and creative social media campaigns to drive value while aligning with the Lowell brand voice
- Help build and scale the Lowell social team by identifying and recruiting for key positions as well as managing and coaching junior team members
- Identify and develop partnerships with like-minded brands to drive customer acquisition while engaging the current Lowell community
- Oversee and manage planning, content calendars, reporting, and optimizations across all social platforms
- Analyze social media performance for Lowell and in relation to key competitors
- Manage cross-platform paid campaigns and compile relevant social media analytics
Qualifications/Requirements
- 6+ years working in social media
- Experience leading social media campaigns and content development
- Experience with e-commerce tools and metrics
- Ability to build team, make business cases to add new roles, recruit and effectively manage and scale team
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios
- Expert understanding of how brands should participate in social media in an authentic way; understand social and meme culture and how to credibly work within it on behalf of Lowell
- Proven ability to plan and organize major digital and social media marketing programs
- Experience identifying and recruiting for internal and external brand ambassadors
- Strong storytelling abilities and writing skills for social media; provide samples of previous work
- Experience organizing and leading photo and video shoots
- Must be an idea factory, always coming up with new ways to keep content fresh
- Must be a positive, problem solver that takes initiative and direction well.
