Grizzly Peak is an Oakland and San Diego, California-based indoor farm of pesticide-free, premium cannabis flower.
Launched as a fully-licensed and legal state operation since 2017, our master growers have a combined 30 years of cannabis growing and operational experience and knowledge.

Summary: Our rapidly growing company is looking for someone with strong attention to detail and accounts payable experience who is looking for a positive work environment where they can learn and grow.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Receive, File, and input all vendor invoices into company drive, cash flow, and QuickBooks.
- Counting and inputting of all cash transactions into company excel files.
- Recording of all vendor payments in Cash Log, Bank Rec, QuickBooks, and Cash Flow Sheets.
- Maintaining company cash log and reconciliations
- Cut and prepare all vendor checks with supporting documentation.
- Communicating with vendors about payment, balance discrepancies, or questions
- Perform vendor account reconciliations
- Submitting check deposits
- Weekly Cash Flow Review
- Weekly Revenue Verification
- Inputting of Payroll into QuickBooks
- Help Financial Controller perform Month End closes
- Human Resources Data Entry
Qualifications:
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- AA or Bachelor’s in accounting (or equivalent work experience).
- Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task and have attention to detail.

We have an immediate opening for METRC Inventory and Compliance Coordinator at our cultivation site in Oakland. The METRC Coordinator will support the Cultivation Team with compliance and METRC inventory management. This position leads METRC inventory management and ensures that all steps of the METRC compliance processes are met on all sites.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all METRC tagging, transformation of inventory, and movement of inventory are compliant with state regulations.
- Audit and report on METRC data regularly to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Identify and resolve physical and digital inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure the site remains compliant with county and state requirements in collaboration with the compliance department.
- Manage transfers and product movement in collaboration with the supply chain team.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 21 years or older and pass a criminal background check
- High school or equivalent
- 1+ years experience in cultivation or production management
- Ability to work in hot, outdoor conditions.
- Knowledge of METRC and Cannabis compliance rules and regulations preferred
- Strong knowledge of spreadsheets and basic data analysis (sorting, filtering, etc.)
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Ability to operate within a tightly controlled track and trace environment
- Basic understanding of cannabis cultivation.
- Basic understanding of cannabis laws, rules and regulations set forth by the state
- Must understand and implement the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the company and the cultivation department.
