Duties:
- Highly productive sales contacts including calls and visits
- Develop mainly new leads and orders
- Negotiate product exposure such as shelf space and advertising
- Promote and nurse existing relationships
- Provide an excellent client experience
- Promote our brand
- Some travel to and from our farm in Port Townsend
- Coordinate with farm on inventory availability
- Supply farm with oral and written reports of sales
- Participate in trade shows
- Sales deliveries including some causing extended work hours
- Some social media interactions
- Work with our CRM system and traceability software system
- Persistent and polite sales contacts
- Proper use of time tracking software
- Very strict legal compliance in a highly regulated industry
- Sobriety on the job
Ideal candidate will have:
- I-502 Cannabis industry experience, especially coming with sales experience and a book of relationships
- CRM systems experience
- traceability systems experience such as Grow Flow
- Knowledge of Cannabinoids and Terpene profiles of Cannabis flower
- Passion for the Cannabis industry and for our role in it
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- High degree of technical ability
- Highly outgoing, enthusiastic, entrepreneurial mindset
Required experience:
- Preferred at least 2 years sales experience
- Preferred at least 1 year experience in Cannabis industry
- Required High School Diploma
- Required 21 years of age or older
- Required pass background check
