Position Summary/Objective
The Budtender position will assist the Blossom budtenders, and management team with the activities and operations of the store, while abiding by policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
This role is responsible for assisting budtenders to acquire the products patients select for purchase, preparing orders, executing transactions, cash handling, and customer service.
Candidates must possess the ability to listen well and communicate effectively to the diverse Blossom patient base.

Responsibilities
Inventories, stores, and restocks products and displays in the retail store by performing the following duties:
- Assists managers by keeping the sales floor stocked with the corresponding products for sale.
- Assists Inventory Specialists/ASM in cycle counts if needed.
- Assists Inventory Specialist/ASM in verifying counts during the intake process, if needed.
- Alerts Management of any discrepancies noticed.
- Helps SKU new inventory products with corresponding barcodes.
- Adhere to the company mission statement and core values, while maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism.
- Greet all patients in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner.
- Provide an excellent customer experience while assisting in the sale of cannabis products.
- Consistently deliver the ultimate customer experience in all facets from patient entry to exit; ensuring each patient receives full attention during their transaction.
- Maintain quality customer service by establishing and enforcing company standards.
- Ensure patient inquiries and complaints are immediately brought to the lead/managers' attention to address issues in the moment.
- Provide outstanding, accurate customer service to patrons by answering or appropriately directing questions and concerns.
- Ensure orders are fulfilled efficiently with 100% accuracy at all times.
- Operate cash register, computer-based POS system, and cash drawer.
- Adhere to company SOPs.
- Verify patient allotment and ensure he/she is eligible to make purchases using the state system.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dispensary by stocking retail items and supplies, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing, including the bathrooms, and staff break room areas.
- Work as part of a team to ensure sales goals, patient satisfaction, and compliance goals are met by designated timelines.
- Ensure opening and closing cleaning and organization are completed daily/nightly.
- Participate in periodic staff meetings.
- Ensure POS counters are ready when the dispensary opens.
- Manage inbound phone inquiries and route calls accordingly.

Job Overview
The Assistant Dispensary Manager is responsible for managing a team of dispensary employees for the company’s cannabis dispensary located in Saco, Maine. This position will involve supporting leadership with all aspects of dispensary operations, including coaching and developing the retail store team.
We are seeking a passionate, driven, detailed-oriented, and collaborative manager to assist with leadership, direction, and support of the daily operations of the dispensary, including handling the needs of all patients and developing a team of budtenders who are enthusiastic about delivering a best-in-class cannabis retail experience that is compliant with state and local rules and regulations. The ideal candidate has the ability to adapt to our business model and has demonstrated leadership experience, as he or she will be given significant responsibility within our Saco dispensary. Previous cannabis retail experience is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Skills in retail business financials (e.g. payroll, profit, and loss) and driving sales growth.
- Experience creating store-specific strategies and managing your team to deliver results.
- Knowledge of retail business fundamentals for total store: sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns & satisfaction, pricing and promotions strategies, and specialty businesses
- Skills in setting and planning total store quarterly business priorities and managing a team to deliver on sales goals. Communicate and coach staff regularly to ensure the dispensary's excellence in service, labor practices, and sales best practices.
- Understand all weekly and monthly sales information.
- Manage employee schedules and employee work hours and vacation requests.
- Manage Leaf Logix inventory system and Weedmaps integration.
- Work closely with the production lead to obtain an adequate supply of Blossom products.

The Dispensary Manager oversees the daily operation of the dispensary, handling the needs of all customers and developing a professional team that is passionate about medical cannabis.
