Bird Valley Organics (BVO) is a local regenerative produce and cannabis farm nestled in the Pajaro Valley. Not only does BVO grow and produce our own cannabis products, but we also provide sales and brand support for Coastal Sun. We are a fun bunch of people who treat each other like family as we all work towards building our business together and making the world a better place.
The Sales Account Manager’s main objective is to develop, grow and continue to foster relationships with dispensaries in their designated territory. This is done by nurturing current accounts and opening new accounts within the given territory. This role will report directly to and work closely with the Sales Director. The NorCal Sales Account Manager territory includes San Francisco & Santa Rosa
AORs (Areas of Responsibility):
- Communicating with and visiting vendors/dispensaries with the intent to augment sales (calls, emails, meetings, etc.).
- Developing fruitful and personal relationships with club buyers/teams/owners.
- Maintaining the territory specific customer relationship management tool with client information and sales to organize daily strategies and to share activities with the BVO Director and sales team.
- Staff trainings: Sales Account Manager will perform Dispensary trainings on all available products with the intent of augmenting sales (data shows that orders increase from clubs after trainings).
- Transactions/orders include all products involved in the Bird Valley Organics distribution platform, which includes: the Bird Valley Organics brand, flowers and products sold under Coastal Sun.
- Expenses: Bird Valley Organics shall cover all reasonable expenses incurred by the Sales Account Manager to carry out sales & network servicing.
- Mileage: Bird Valley Organics shall also compensate the Sales Account Manager for mileage incurred during work related activities the IRS issued/standard rate of $0.56 per mile.
- Benefits: At this time, Bird Valley Organics is currently working to offer a benefits/bonus package.

- Transactions/orders include all products involved in the Bird Valley Organics distribution platform, which includes: medical sold under the Bird Valley Organics brand, Recreational Concentrates for the CaliStripe brand, flowers and products sold under Coastal Sun (menu will continue to grow to include/involve other products as well, all in the same ethos of regenerative/locally grown in Santa Cruz).
Employee Details:
- Compensation: The Sales Account Manager will earn a base salary + commissions.
- Expenses: Bird Valley Organics shall cover all reasonable expenses incurred by the Sales Account Manager to carry out sales & network servicing.

Bird Valley Organics Marketing Assistant Manager Job Description
Bird Valley Organics (BVO) is a local regenerative produce and cannabis cultivating farm. BVO grows sustainable and EnviroCann Certified cannabis that is processed into clean Full-Spectrum oils for our patients across the state. Not only does BVO distribute it's own oil but, we also distribute flower and products for local neighboring farms.
Currently those farms are Coastal Sun and Santa Cruz Canna Farms, and may include more partners as the business grows.
Marketing Assistant Manager Description:
Work with the Bird Valley executive team to expand and maintain a competitive marketing & design presence in a quickly developing industry, including social media, packaging designs, advertising campaigns, event planning, sales strategies, cross-promotion with Dispensaries, and more.
This is a 10-20 hour/week position (TBD depending on experience) and can be either a part-time position or contracted. This position can be mostly remote, with maybe 1 day/week at the farm = ~4 days a month or more (depending on location of candidate). However, we have a great team and an office at the farm to call your own. We welcome this person to come work side-by-side with us to capture and be a part of the hustle and bustle of the farm.
Relevant Skills & AORs (Areas of Responsibility):
- Design experience with the Adobe suite, and more than proficient with Adobe Illustrator.
- Photography, videography and film editing experience (proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro)

We are seeking a unique individual to work alongside the farm manager and develop a commercial large-scale Hugelkultur farming operation of both cannabis and vegetables. This position will have the opportunity for creative lead on projects, farm design and operations alongside the co-founders.
Bird Valley Organics also creates super-healing full spectrum oils, which are created from flowers from our regenerative garden and our partnering farms. Our goal is to expand our compassion program and give our oils at cost to help those who can't afford medicine. We appreciate people who are focused on solutions, efficiency and take a hands-on approach to farm management. Must have a general knowledge of using and preparing budgets/reports to ensure maximum profit. You should be able to maintain professional networks with our farm partners and stay informed of developments with the CDTFA and its agencies. Analyze existing operations,crops, financial documents,and recommend improvements. Prepare plans and schedules for planting, harvesting,and ensuring staff understand expectations. Maintain inventory and make sure other supplies are regularly restocked. Schedule repairs, maintenance, and know basic use of tractors, equipment, and machinery.
