The person in this role will join our skilled technical manufacturing staff and will be required to work on-site Monday-Friday. This position is hands-on, and requires a self starter with strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
- Build high-quality capital equipment, pumps, and PID controllers
- Read and interpret mechanical assembly drawings as well as electrical and piping schematics.
- Provide attention to detail and follow all Quality Control requirements and checks so that all equipment that leaves the facility meets the high standards our customers have come to expect.
- Keep the work area clean and all tools and supplies organized.
- Ensure work is done safely and follows all OSHA and other safety standards.
- Create, follow and help maintain Work Instructions (SOPs) related to Assembly and Build Procedures.
- Knowledge and skill with industrial tools including water-jet, saws, drills, wire strippers, grinders, plasma cutters, engraving tools, multimeters, and other basic hand tools.
- Work and coordinate with other members of the team to help maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Take on additional duties as needed by the team.
Requirements:
- High School diploma, associate’s degree, or trade school preferred.
- 3+ year of work experience
- Strong computer skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential
- Ability to collaborate and remain professional in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license

Beaker & Wrench is a mechanical engineering firm located in Los Angeles, CA. We are in our 5th year of business in the growing cannabis and hemp industry. As a tech company in the cannabis/hemp space, we provide machinery to meet the needs of the B2B oil manufacturing industry.
This is a demanding industry where nuanced knowledge and dedication to precision are paramount to success. We were founded by a chemist and mechanical engineer seeking to make life better in the lab!
We are seeking a motivated and energetic artist to join our company as a Graphics Designer/Videographer. As part of our creative team, you create graphics, video content and assets for use across a wide variety of media, including our platform, social media, mobile platforms, and email. You work with the co-founder and Sales and Marketing Lead along with out of house creative contractors, supporting company goals and media initiatives, meaning that a collaborative mindset is an absolute must. Our ideal candidate is an expert in an array of Adobe products, including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects Design, Premiere Pro. You should also be an expert in other common design software such as Canva. Creating tradeshow assets will also be required, and travel to tradeshows to shoot content live.
Graphics Designer Duties and Responsibilities
Create visually stunning cannabis science and technology graphics, video assets and content that are attractive to our demographic base (B2B cannabis and hemp oil manufacturers.)Collaborate with colleagues to best support larger media goalsTake initiative on projects to over-deliver new and innovative solutionsCreate graphic templates for easy use by other team members and client teams.Adhere to brand guidelines in ways that still push creative boundaries
Videographer Designer Requirements and Qualifications
Prior experience of videography workProficient knowledge of Premiere Pro and Premiere rushA never-ending desire to learn new techniques and technology to advance your craftExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSuperb visual and conceptual skills to solve problems and create novel solutions

10-20 remote hours a week + 1 day in the office per week, eventually expanding to full time.Will travel 2-4 times a year for 3-4 days at a time for tradeshows.We are located in Downtown LA but then to move somewhere along the 5,60, or 10.
