Cannabis Welder Fabricator Jobs

We are looking for a dedicated welder/fabricator with attention to detail and a passion for high quality work to build our custom stainless assemblies and brazed piping systems. The person in this role will join our skilled technical manufacturing staff and will be required to work on-site Monday-Friday. This position is hands-on, and requires a self starter with strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Build high quality and complex stainless steel weldments
• Read and interpret drawings to determine specific welding requirements. Comfortable with complex stainless welding and pipe brazing.
• Keep work area clean and organized and set-up and maintain all welding equipment.
• Ensure work is done safely and follows all OSHA and other safety standards.
• Provide attention to detail on the output of the product to meet the high quality standards expected for our products.
• Create, follow and help maintain Work Instructions (SOPs) related to Welding Procedures.
• Basic knowledge in the use of hand and power tools (Drill press, chop-saw, etc).
• Work and coordinate with other members of the team to help maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Take on additional duties as needed by the team.
  

Requirements:

• Associates degree or certification in welding from AWS
• 1+ year work experience
• HVAC certification a plus
• Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential
• Ability to collaborate and remain professional in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license
• Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Local family-owned manufacturer seeks a welder for the fabrication of attachments for excavators and mini-excavators. Required Experience: 3-5 years in welding/fabrication including print reading, fit-up and finish welding. Primarily MiG welding, stick and TiG experience helpful. Basic computer skills, including remote video conferences for planning meetings. Good shop housekeeping and attention to detail are expected. Self-starter, able to open/close shop as needed. Desired experience: experience with multi-step assemblies, heavy equipment, and industrial welding. Other details: Forklift for material handling. Must wear work boots, safety toe preferred. No smoking, no drugs, no cannabis shop. No climbing required for this position. Hours are Monday to Friday, but start and end times may be flexible. Full time position, temporary to permanent, with 90 days probation. Part time schedule considered for the right candidate. Reply with resume including references.
