Position: Inventory Fulfillment Specialist

REDI is an Adult Use Cannabis Dispensary that operates a retail location in the City of Newton, Massachusetts. REDI operates in a highly regulated environment and must be oriented toward regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

The Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for processing and fulfilling orders and assisting with maintaining the smooth flow of cannabis from intake to point-of-sale.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fulfill incoming orders with high accuracy
• Effectively utilize the state-mandated point-of-sale software
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory is reflected on our online menu by conducting frequent inventory assessments of products in the fulfillment and point-of-sale areas
• Immediately report any inventory discrepancies to the Dispensary General Manager for further action
• Assist with monthly inventory audits
• Assist with daily opening and closing procedures
• Maintain compliance with all Company policies, standards, values, and procedures
• Participate in staff training and maintain product and industry knowledge
• Assist with and receive product deliveries
• Follow directives of the Assistant Manager or General Manager

Qualifications

Education:

• Minimum of a high school degree required; college degree preferred
• Combination of education and work experience will be considered

Work Experience

• Data entry experience required
• Customer service experience
• Experience in warehouse inventory control or related area helpful
• Experience as Assistant Inventory Manager or Product Associate in retail dispensary is preferred
• Considerable exposure to retail cultures focused on well-developed standard operating procedures and employee training programs is critical
• Work history that demonstrates stability, progressive responsibility, and willingness to accept new duties

Capabilities and Skills:

• Cannabis experience and knowledge preferred
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of computer and office equipment and programs; proficiency in computer usage including retail point-of-sale software, MS Office applications (MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook), and more

Other Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds for a distance of 50 feet
• Ability to spend extended time sitting, walking, bending, and reaching
• Must pass stringent State background test requirements

This position is classified as Non-Exempt, and therefore, will be eligible to receive overtime pay based on federal and state requirements. While there is no promise of overtime, it may be required either on a regular or periodic basis due to business necessity. Eligibility to work overtime will be determined in accordance with local site practice.

FULFILLMENT INVENTORY SPECIALIST – CANNABIS INDUSTRY

JOB SUMMARY
The Inventory Fulfillment Specialist will be responsible for conducting inventory logistics necessary to support the supply chain of all cannabis goods for Mellow Fellows LLC. The role will involve key inventory functions and be responsible for providing strategic insight and feedback to our leadership team. We are looking for a people-oriented team member with solid operational experience and the motivation to reach new career heights. Here you’ll have the gratification of joining a fast-growing team, as well as a rapidly expanding supply chain operations. In this high-profile role you'll collaborate closely with all vertically integrated departments, as well as compliance and leadership team. The role requires significant analytical skills and judgement, elevated attention to detail and organizational skills.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct inventory strategies and provide feedback for continuous improvement and best practices. Support cycle count programs to maintain inventory balance in all Mellow Fellow LLC departments.

• Contribute to daily inventory count audit reports for the Dispensary and weekly inventory audit reports for our leadership team. Support end of month and end of year inventory audits for all departments.
• Analyzes and monitors inventory adjustments and chain of custody of cannabis.
• Effectively queries inventory and order-related transaction history.
• Ensures proper classification and storage of inventory.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow and stay current on industry best practices, trends and technologies.
• Improve business processes for key aspects of operations through analysis and collaboration with colleagues.
• Maintain compliance by adhering to all appropriate policies, procedures, safety, rules, and regulations.
• Support and contribute to Key Performance Indicator reports including forecast accuracy, inventory levels, inventory reserve, months of supply, and customer delivery performance.
• Maintain records and check accuracy of inventory cycle counts and investigate and resolve any discrepancies, informing management of findings.
• Exercise independent judgment, analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Contribute to a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect.
• Use discretion with sensitive and confidential security and business information.

The Inventory/Leaflink Specialist is responsible for vetting all Post-Harvest operational data to the facility Metrc specialist. Metrc input access should be restricted to Metrc personnel only, so the Leaflink/Inventory Specialist will
have view only access to Metrc and will serve as the liaison connecting the work completed within the Webberville Post-Harvest department to the Metrc Specialist and ultimately into the state monitoring system, ensuring it’s accuracy and accessibility. The Inventory/Leaflink Specialist is responsible for handling fullfillment of outgoing and incoming orders, maintaining the facility audit schedule and keeping inventory reports and Leaflink accurate to what inventory is available for sale.

Qualifications required

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain regular communication with Compliance Officer
• Ensure compliance labels correspond with correct packages for product creation or relabeling
• Conduct monthly facility inventory audits following a staggered 30 day cycle that corresponds with each package’s last audit
• Be accountable for the location of each package in the facility, and update locations as appropriate in a timely manner
• Confirm and provide appropriate notations of all adjustments, as well as document how often adjustments are made and tracking a percentage rate of loss per month to a variety of reasons (waste, moisture loss, spoilage, internal samples, ect)
• Put together teammember biweekly internal sample bags and communicate individual sample dispersals to Metrc Specialist to adjust and track accordingly
• Handle order fulfillment and occasionally the creation of invoices on Leaflink in communication with Sales department
• Schedule transport for outgoing orders
• Provide all necessary data for license transfers to Metrc Specialist. Complete license transfers once approved and track their source package to ensure compliance tag information is correct.
• Complete all assigned production tasks while meeting goals and maintaining quality
• Manage day to day activity on Leaflink (Inventory, order fulfillment, etc)
• Manage day to day on Monday.com (Product creation, trimming schedule, sales, inventory, fulfillment schedule, etc)
• Manage all product inventory
• Assist with product inventory audits as scheduled
• Assist with providing updates to SOPs as needed
• Accurately weighing/counting and reporting completed numbers
• Working with teammembers to continually improve procedures
• Assist with product creation, labeling and/or trimming when needed or free time available.
• Assist with cleaning and organizing facility daily and maintaining a clean work environment
