JOB SUMMARY
The Inventory Fulfillment Specialist will be responsible for conducting inventory logistics necessary to support the supply chain of all cannabis goods for Mellow Fellows LLC. The role will involve key inventory functions and be responsible for providing strategic insight and feedback to our leadership team. We are looking for a people-oriented team member with solid operational experience and the motivation to reach new career heights. Here you’ll have the gratification of joining a fast-growing team, as well as a rapidly expanding supply chain operations. In this high-profile role you'll collaborate closely with all vertically integrated departments, as well as compliance and leadership team. The role requires significant analytical skills and judgement, elevated attention to detail and organizational skills.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct inventory strategies and provide feedback for continuous improvement and best practices. Support cycle count programs to maintain inventory balance in all Mellow Fellow LLC departments.
- Contribute to daily inventory count audit reports for the Dispensary and weekly inventory audit reports for our leadership team. Support end of month and end of year inventory audits for all departments.
- Analyzes and monitors inventory adjustments and chain of custody of cannabis.
- Effectively queries inventory and order-related transaction history.
- Ensures proper classification and storage of inventory.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow and stay current on industry best practices, trends and technologies.
- Improve business processes for key aspects of operations through analysis and collaboration with colleagues.
- Maintain compliance by adhering to all appropriate policies, procedures, safety, rules, and regulations.
- Support and contribute to Key Performance Indicator reports including forecast accuracy, inventory levels, inventory reserve, months of supply, and customer delivery performance.
- Maintain records and check accuracy of inventory cycle counts and investigate and resolve any discrepancies, informing management of findings.
- Exercise independent judgment, analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.

- Ensure budtenders are speaking accurately about products. Provide insights when needed or asked.
- Keeping an eye on staff cell phone usage.
- Ensure the morning whiteboard is filled out and accurate.
- Assist in training of new retail staff (with assistance from Retail Manager).
- Adjust to the training needs of individual employees.
- Assess employees abilities throughout training and effectively correct errors.
- Manage minor personnel matters.
- Seek assistance from Retail Manager, and HR Department when necessary.
- Manage digital menu boards and make sure all products are loading properly and all information is correct.
- Maintain digital imagery on hallway board with relevant content and recent deals/products

Inventory and Stocking Responsibilities

- Participate in and help with coordination of regular inventory checks.
- Maintain knowledge of current for sale inventory and available back stock for when existing inventory is sold out.
- Be aware of changes in batches being sold so digital and online menus can be updated appropriately.
- Keep inventory in the vault organized and accurately labeled.
- Accurately document any damaged products in the Destruction/Return Log Book.
- Keep products stocked on the sales floor. Make sure correct Metrc tags are being stocked and all inventory movement is documented accurately.
- Rotate inventory in the vault to ensure F.I.F.O is being adhered to.
- Inform staff of changes to menu throughout shifts.
- Perform the end of the night audits in the fulfillment room.
- Convert and label products from 3rd party vendors when necessary.
- Monitor expiration dates of products.
- Accept transports physically and in Metrc.
- Tag and count each product that comes in during transports.
- Ensure the vault is maintained and organized.
- Maintain all ancillary websites. (Weedmaps, leafly, dutchie, etc.)
- Coordinate with the Retail Manager.
- Lead weekly meetings.
- Have regular one on ones with staff.

BUDTENDER/GREETER – CANNABIS INDUSTRY
JOB SUMMARY
The Budtender/Greeter’s primary responsibility is to coordinate and facilitate sales transactions of the store and sustain a high level of customer service. The Budtender will provide superior service and guidance to customers. The Budtender will arrange and package customer orders, record sales in the POS system, and handle cash and cashless ATM transactions. The Budtender must maintain an organized environment and sustain a clean facility appearance. The Budtender embraces customer education, understands marketing and complies with all documented state laws, regulations and security procedures to safeguard staff and consumers. The role will collaborate with colleagues to provide feedback to leadership in determining high demand products to stock and effective pricing suggestions based on prevailing market conditions. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Service and Facility Upkeep:
- Greet customers as they enter the dispensary. Provide orientations and tours for first time customers.
- Communicate with line coordinator to maintain customer traffic flow, minimize wait times, and maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
- Respond to and resolve customer requests, complaints or compliments in person, through email and on the phone requesting supervisor support as needed.
- Maintain organization of dispensary room through daily upkeep and light cleaning.
- Maintain quality and appearance of product through removing shake and stems, while checking for defective mold, mildew, expiration dates or defective products.
Payment Processing: * Package customer orders while ensuring proper weight, labeling, and discounts are applied.
- Process payment for all customer purchases and provide a receipt for each purchase.
- Record specific requests, preferences and notifications for customers using the POS system.
- Maintain organization of cashier counter through daily light cleaning.
Cannabis Education and Guidance:
- Maintain knowledge of all products and services provided, as well as applicable state and local laws.
- Educate customers on options and methods, strain information, effectiveness for specific ailments and cultivation methods.
