Position Summary
Garden Technicians are responsible for the day-to-day operations at Primitiv Groups cultivation facility. They are expected to care for the cannabis plants during their reproductive, vegetative, and flowering stages. This includes propagating, rooting, transplanting, pruning and fertilizing immature and mature cannabis plants.
The position will be the weekday shift for 8 hours a day and 5 days a week.
Requirements
A high school diploma is required. 1-3 years of experience in commercial agriculture, landscaping or commercial cannabis production is preferred. Garden Technicians must possess a driven, hardworking attitude, a positive disposition as this job is physically and mentally demanding. Some knowledge of computers and record keeping is required as the applicant is expected to use Primitiv Group’s seed-to-sale tracking program proficiently. Garden Technicians will be expected to work three days a week, weekends and some holidays. A background check is mandatory prior to employment.
Cultivation
Garden Technicians are responsible for the day-to-day tasks performed on the cannabis plants at the cultivation facility. These responsibilities include:
· Propagation of the female cannabis plants through asexual reproduction (cloning).
· Labeling and tracking plants through the seed-to-sale tracking program.
· Transplanting, pruning and fertilizing cannabis plants with oversight from the department managers.
· Demonstrating sufficient knowledge of the cannabis plant life cycle.
Cleaning and sanitizing the cultivation facility.
Special Considerations - MMFLA section 333.27501:
(b) While holding a license as a grower, not be a registered primary caregiver and not employ an individual who is simultaneously a registered primary caregiver.
Licensed MMFL Growers, Processors and Secure Transporters:
R 420.602 Employees; requirements.
(2)(i) When a registered primary caregiver is hired as an employee of a grower, processor, or secure transporter licensed under the medical marihuana facilities licensing act, withdraw, or ensure the individual withdraws, the individual's registration as a registered primary caregiver.

The Inventory/Leaflink Specialist is responsible for vetting all Post-Harvest operational data to the facility Metrc specialist. Metrc input access should be restricted to Metrc personnel only, so the Leaflink/Inventory Specialist will
have view only access to Metrc and will serve as the liaison connecting the work completed within the Webberville Post-Harvest department to the Metrc Specialist and ultimately into the state monitoring system, ensuring it’s accuracy and accessibility. The Inventory/Leaflink Specialist is responsible for handling fullfillment of outgoing and incoming orders, maintaining the facility audit schedule and keeping inventory reports and Leaflink accurate to what inventory is available for sale.
Qualifications required

- High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Metrc/Leaflink/MRA/CRA familiarity (2 years experience)
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive Suite) (1 year)
- Familiarity with phone and e-mail professional etiquette
- Excellent reasoning and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain regular communication with Compliance Officer
- Ensure compliance labels correspond with correct packages for product creation or relabeling
- Conduct monthly facility inventory audits following a staggered 30 day cycle that corresponds with each package’s last audit
- Be accountable for the location of each package in the facility, and update locations as appropriate in a timely manner
- Confirm and provide appropriate notations of all adjustments, as well as document how often adjustments are made and tracking a percentage rate of loss per month to a variety of reasons (waste, moisture loss, spoilage, internal samples, ect)
- Put together teammember biweekly internal sample bags and communicate individual sample dispersals to Metrc Specialist to adjust and track accordingly
- Handle order fulfillment and occasionally the creation of invoices on Leaflink in communication with Sales department
- Schedule transport for outgoing orders
- Provide all necessary data for license transfers to Metrc Specialist. Complete license transfers once approved and track their source package to ensure compliance tag information is correct.
- Complete all assigned production tasks while meeting goals and maintaining quality
- Manage day to day activity on Leaflink (Inventory, order fulfillment, etc)
- Manage day to day on Monday.com (Product creation, trimming schedule, sales, inventory, fulfillment schedule, etc)
- Manage all product inventory
- Assist with product inventory audits as scheduled
- Assist with providing updates to SOPs as needed
- Accurately weighing/counting and reporting completed numbers
- Working with teammembers to continually improve procedures
- Assist with product creation, labeling and/or trimming when needed or free time available.
- Assist with cleaning and organizing facility daily and maintaining a clean work environment
