The Assistant Grower Manager will excel in growing hydroponic crops of the highest quality in the most efficient way, in collaboration with other production team members. Experience with organic hydroponic growing is a plus.

Cultivation Assistant Manager
Cannassentials, a beyond indoor regenerative cannabis cultivator in Veneta is actively searching for a Greenhouse Cultivation Assistant Manager to join our team. The right individual needs to have a passion for cannabis, experience in natural gardening (cannabis or other) and experience with production management and planning of small teams.
- Responsible for working hand in hand with the Cultivation Lead and the Company President with management, planning and garden work. Assistance with day to day running of the flowering greenhouses and the nursery. Production planning, scheduling organization, managing a small crew of 2 or 3 individuals.
Tasks include:
- Pruning
- Watering
- Foliar Spraying
- Helping with making ferments
- Planting, Top dressing
- Assisting with harvesting and other production tasks
- Individual needs to be able to work in TIGHT places, moving around the greenhouse as required. Much of the job involves work done at the level of beds, including crouching, and bending. Good physical condition is required.

Under the direction of the Grower Manager, the Asst. Grower Manager is responsible for finishing crops on time, to spec and at the correct quantities versus plan. Together with the Grower Manager, this role will directly oversee the Growing staff within a defined section of the company, including personnel development. Key areas of focus include irrigation and fertilization, climate management via Priva, integrated pest management (IPM), development of crop templates, and daily tracking of crops to ensure the team is meeting plan.
JOB DUTIES:

Daily monitoring of climate reports via Priva and adjustment of set points as required.
- Routine monitoring of crop finish times vs. plan, and communication of variances to the Grower Manager, the Inventory/QC team and Sales as required.

Lead a team of Growers to ensure that the team meets yield, quality, and quantity targets. Keep staff challenged through regular interaction, recognition, and exposure to different crops and/or areas.

- Drive change through the Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) and constantly assess what is working well and what is not, making changes as needed

Job Description:
Native Roots LLC, Farm Manager/Assistant Grower position will play a key role in maintaining NR鈥檚 native plant inventory, quality and health while executing the Company鈥檚 Plant Production Plan(s). The Farm Manager/Assistant Grower will be responsible for the following
The duties include but are not limited to:
1) Assist with production of plants (forbs, grasses, trees, shrubs, and wetlands plants) from seed, cuttings, and liners.
2) Oversee inventories for containerized plants, seed, and plant tags
3) In charge of seed harvest and seed cleaning operations
4) Identify plants by Latin, common names, and characteristics as well as problems such as diseases, weeds, and insect pests.
5) Provide all necessary documentation to the controller with regards to sales, purchases receipt or shipment of goods.
6) Manage the overall care of plants and seed in an efficient manner as well as employees performing such care.
7) Apply pesticides and fertilizers to plants if and when necessary, develop and implement an IMP program for the farm.
8) The care and proper upkeep of all production facilities and the direction of employees performing those duties.
9) Over see all infield watering operations and equipment maintenance.
10) Timely requests for products related to the care and production of the plants.
11) Assist with sales, collection of payment, and the issuing of invoicing information to the central office.
12) Assist in fulfilling all plant orders with suitable and healthy material.
13) Assist in the development and execute the plant production strategy.
14) Explain and enforce safety regulations and policies.
