Overview of Position:
The Teller is responsible for completing guest and patient transactions and providing excellent customer service. The Teller provides additional information on cannabis and cannabis infused products, Unity Rd. services, and upcoming specials and events.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Processes guest and patient transactions
- Calculates the cost of products
- Accepts payments and calculates and returns change when required by the payment method
- Answers guest and patient questions about products or services
- Identifies upsell opportunities
- Signs guests and patients up for the loyalty rewards program
- Continue ongoing cannabis education and product exploration
- Maintain a clean and presentable teller station
- Conduct transactions with total accuracy regarding compliance
- Ensure front of house inventory is stocked and organized
- Periodically assist in shop inventory audits
- Effectively communicates with patients in consultative manner
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 21 years of age
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Must have reliable transportation
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Must maintain composure under pressure
- Must have working knowledge of basic computer programs
- Example – Word, Weedmaps, Canva, etc.
- Extensive background and knowledge of cannabis and cannabis infused products
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and through written media
- Previous retail/cannabis sales experience preferred
- Cash handling and POS experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Responsibilities
As a teller you will be assisting customers by answering their questions, making them feel welcome and comfortable. Assisting them by giving them information about products and experiences they may experience using the products. A teller is responsible for ringing up customers, correctly inputting coupons and ensuring the customer has the best experience possible to build positive customer relationships.

- Ability to handle high stress situations and a busy atmosphere
- Experience in a retail setting
- Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
- Self motivated
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
- There is no visa or H1-B sponsorship. Candidates must successfully complete a criminal record screening or FBI Fingerprints requirements.
- Successful completion of a thorough personal reference check and background check from the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health. Note that any applicant with a violent felony or drug-related offense (Conclusion of sentence, probation, and/or incarceration within the past 10 years) is not eligible to become a dispensary agent.
