Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Account Manager. You will work closely with our internal operations teams and field sales team to ensure that our customers have an amazing experience with our brand, from creating new leads to driving repeat purchases. Everything from fulfillment operations to customer engagement program execution, you'll have a hand in helping develop and grow our brand in the market. California cannabis sales experience is required in addition to being a rockstar in sales and customer relationship management and development. Role responsibilities
- Sell more weed
- Proactively develop customer relationships by opening and maintaining relationships with retailers, you will act as the key POC for all internal and external questions and concerns
- Schedule and run shop visits with buyers/management, monthly in-store demos and/or promotions, initial / quarterly budtender training, and in-store sales incentive programs
- During store visits, check up on how the product is being merchandised and suggest additional or changes to marketing assets
- Assist with planning and budgeting for a regional marketing program
- Keep abreast of industry best practices and promotional trends
- Contact delinquent accounts and ensure collections are current
- Frequently visit the stores in your territory to ensure products have the best possible merchandising available at all times
- Manage new customer onboarding flow, including updating the CRM and ensuring customer data is organized
- Recruit and manage local brand ambassador contractors
- Support internal and 3rd party distribution fulfillment and logistics as needed to ensure deliveries are successful and make any necessary invoicing updates
- Give feedback to our internal teams on what is working and what could be changed to help us continuously improve our go-to-market strategy
- Other duties as assigned by management
What you bring to the role
- 5+ years in customer-facing / sales roles
- 3+ years of cannabis industry experience (sorry smoking doesn't count)
- Excellent communication (across all channels) and relationship management skills
- Business software tools and systems savvy
- Ability to manage a sales pipeline and report metrics upward to management
- Sense of urgency
- Positive team player
- Self-starter and target driven, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Ability to drive/travel up to 70% of the time
Additional Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in career experience
- Must be 21+ with a valid driver's license
- Must pass a background check
- Must be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly
- Professionalism is a must

- A working vehicle (you will be reimbursed for gas and mileage)

Humboldt’s Finest Farms is seeking a qualified Account Manager/Sales Representative with prior Cannabis Sales experience. As an Account Manager, you will be a primary representative of the brand and will be responsible for developing, maintaining and overseeing long-term B2B relationships with wholesale dispensary buyers and our distribution partners.
As an Account Manager, you will coordinate with our distribution partners and representatives to ensure an aligned performance and will work closely with our Operations and Marketing teams to track inventories and develop sales campaigns.
You will nurture existing client relations and work to achieve the buyer's needs and requests. You will respond to all inquiries in a timely manner and will work towards providing buyers and dispensary employees with a positive Humboldt's Finest experience. You will need to have intuitive interpersonal skills, possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, outstanding organizational skills, and have creative solutions for all situations that may arise. Being a team player is key to this position!
Responsibilities include:
- Track your daily activities, cold calls and drop by
- Develop effective and high-yielding relationships with clients
- Ability to understand clients needs and adapt accordingly
- Educate wholesalers, dispensaries, and budtenders on Humboldt’s Finest quality craft cannabis products and farms
- Constantly strategizing how to upsell products and find new needs in existing accounts
- Attending social events to expand your network in the industry
- Provide reports and updates weekly to the sales manager and team
- Take over existing accounts with the intention to increase their sales
- Working with Sales Manager and your Brand Ambassadors to plan and execute promotional demos at dispensaries
- You will be the point of contact for buyers at dispensaries
