Essential Job Functions/Duties:
- Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
- Present and touch base in each account, physically with buyer, a minimum of once every 2 weeks.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and Sales Operations department.
- Ensure 100% product knowledge of distribution products and relevant competition.
- Report on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
- Continuously improve through feedback.
- Utilize CRM tool and track all sales communications, maintain up to date account information.
- Report daily sales numbers by end of each day, maintain account knowledge to be shared at any time.
- Accurate order inputting: price and order accuracy confirmed within 24 hours of receipt from account.
- Identify market shifts, trends, pricing and competition.
- Identify the leading products while recommending solutions to improve sales on slow performers.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ year’s experience in Cannabis sales A MUST.
- Ability to demonstrate innovation and creativity to assist in execution of strategy to meet Company goals.
- Ability to work extended hours and workdays in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and work demands as needed.
- High level of personal and professional integrity.
- Organized, analytical, detail oriented, positive team player.

Job Summary:
The Cannabis Sales Representative-Northern Region for True North Collective MI will sell and provide guidance about products needed by provisioning centers in the state of Michigan.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains relationships with potential and existing clients in the cannabis industry in the state of Michigan
- Identifies and locates new clients through a variety of methods including networking, cold calls, and cannabis retailer visits
- Develops and implements strategies for sales with the True North Collective MI marketing representative and the sales director in an assigned region
- Applies knowledge of the field and product features to match products to the needs of clients
- Answers inquiries from clients concerning products, their uses, and the industry at large
- Provides information, quotes, credit terms, and other specifications to clients
- Negotiates prices and terms of sales with the input from the sales director, submits orders
- Collaborates with purchasing departments, managers, and other staff to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that products are distributed properly
- Periodically prepares and reports results, status of accounts, and leads to manager
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to travel within assigned Michigan region 75% of the time as well as to our current sales office in Jackson, MI one time per month
- Home base located in or around Cadillac, Grayling, Gaylord, or Traverse City, MI areas
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Thorough understanding of cannabis and cannabis-related products

As the chief point of contact, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for ensuring that the relationship with our distributor is managed properly and our customers are provided with outstanding serviced.
