Position Overview
The Extraction Technician is responsible for following established protocols - Regulations and procedures during the extraction process while operating equipment and conducting activities required to produce and preform post processing procedures of concentrates, as well as properly maintain production equipment and materials necessary to run a world-class extraction lab.
Major Areas of Responsibility include:
- Operating extraction machines ( ETS MEP ) and handling hydrocarbons in a safe manner while always following standard operating procedures that ensure consistent quality and safety.
- Follow Policies & Procedures for the daily operations that fully comply with Maine medical and adult use marijuana policies.
- Cleaning and maintenance of lab and extraction equipment as required by procedures and manufacturer specifications, cleanliness in the c1d1 booth and post processing area are of utmost importance.
- Following post processing procedures to accurately make different forms of extract including – Diamonds, Badder, Sauce, Shatter etc.
- Have good communication skills to deal with clients on product intake and procurement as well as issues that may arise
- The ability to always work as a team and work between 40 – 50 hours weekly if needed
