410 Extracts is one of California’s newest licensed cannabis manufacturing and distribution companies located in Santa Cruz,California. As a vertically integrated company we manufacture and distribute a full suite of branded cannabis products, focusing on concentrates with plans to expand into a variety of different products.
As an ideal candidate, you will have exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills. You are preferred to have experience in the cannabis and/or a related fields including Laboratories, Wine & Spirits, Food & Beverage, and will work closely with the lab technicians and all management within the company. Must be at least 21 years old.
Job Description:
- Cleaning and packing tubes
- Assisting the extractor(s) with switching out machine parts and maintenance
- Running extraction equipment to create concentrated cannabis products
- Cleaning and maintenance of extraction equipment
- Weighing and in-taking new product
- Packaging product
- Use a database to track inventory, procedures, or documents, maintaining a system that includes API's using State required METRC software.
- Month end reporting, inventory cycle counts, and reconciliation
- Performing reconciliations in the inventory management system, including providing accurate notes on steps taken in investigations.
- Learn from and improve SOPs that align with best practices.
- Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of company, Local and State authorities so to not negatively affect the company at any time.
- Operate with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information.
- Must have at least entry-level knowledge of cannabis, related vocabulary and products offered.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, work with heavy equipment for 8 hours, some lifting, squatting, bending, some pushing and pulling. Must be able to lift 50lbs.

- Prior experience in an laboratory environment
- Experience working for a cannabis company
- Experience in developing, documenting, and implementing systems and processes
- Comfortable working in a quickly evolving startup environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage high stress situations, and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it
- Excellent communication skills and leadership both verbally and through written media
- Able to learn quickly and retain information easily
- Been responsible for product compliance with Federal and State regulatory requirements as well as ensuring compliance with Corporate, Health, Safety, Sanitation, Quality, and other regulations
- Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative, and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgment, common sense and resourcefulness
- Possesses a high level of critical thinking skills

Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, flexible scheduling
- Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
