Denver Botanic Gardens is currently seeking a Seasonal CSA Grower at our Chatfield Farms location! Read below to see if the requirements might be a good fit for you:
Under general direction of the Associate Director of Farm Programs and direct supervision from the Head CSA Grower, this position will assist in growing various mixed vegetable crops with organic management methods.
The seasonal CSA grower has two positions:
- Growing mixed vegetables for production with a team of 8
- Growing flowers for production with a team of 2
The flower farmer seasonal role does the same tasks as the vegetable farmer but with the end goal of making something beautiful and artistic for our clients. Duties include planting, harvesting and processing bouquets. Both positions are physical and projects like T-post pounding, bed preparation, broad forking and trellising are regular occurring activities all season.
Both the vegetable or flower role would be perfect for someone wanting to learn the skill of small-scale farming with experienced, educational growers and a supportive environment while still getting paid. We do not call this position an apprentice; however you will be able to gain all the skills you need to become a small- scale farmer.
The Chatfield CSA harvests approximately 350 vegetable/herb shares each week during the season, and distributes the produce in two weekly market-style pickups. The CSA also harvests vegetables for our outreach and donation program, and this position will assist in those weekly activities. Seasonal staff will assist in all aspects of day-to-day farm activities. The flower team harvests and distributes anywhere from 40 -70 bouquets weekly, plus flowers/arrangements for special events and DIY creatives.
HOURS ARE VARIABLE: Much of this position is full-time during peak season which is May-October. In October, the position ends for the season. April and October are slower months with the potential of weather disruptions, so these months are typically not quite full-time. Sick time is included.
Requirements:General Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs assigned tasks including but not limited to harvesting, washing, and packing of vegetables.
- Performs weekly tasks including: small machine work, transplanting, mechanical and hand-weeding, harvest and post-harvest packing and processing.
- Assists in all aspects of day-to-day farm activities.
- Maintains freshness and quality of produce at all distributions and help with a pleasant display.
- Speaks with CSA shareholders and volunteers about growing practices, recipes, methods of farming, etc.
- Acts as a mutual partner in the learning process of farming and land stewardship.
- Employs creativity and kindness when working with the veterans, volunteers, and other staff in the fields.
- Assists in weed management including hand weeding, mowing, and weed whacking.
- Ensures quality, timeliness, and accuracy in all aspects of farm work specifically arriving on time and managing the schedule of tasks day to day.
- Assists in the donation of fresh vegetables into the community through our strategic partnerships including restaurants, caterers, and food procurers.
- Attends regular meetings with CSA staff and Chatfield staff.
- Assists with sales and delivery to wholesale or donation customers.
- Assists with staffing seasonal public events such as Lavender Festival or Pumpkin Festival as required by leadership.
- Maintains satisfactory working relationships with managers, co-workers, and others.

Summary
Serves as a frontline support for the Store Manager ensuring customer/patient relations, personnel management, administrative duties, inventory control, adherence of compliance and regulations, and facilitating successful day-to-day operations. - Ensure there is on-going coaching/providing feedback to and from employees. Prepare and deliver employee performance evaluations in conjunction with the Store Manager.
- Maintain knowledge of market trends, new cannabis studies and information. Ensure employees do the same and communicate with the Store Manager.
- Assisting the Store Manager in creation of, amendment of, and enforcement of all standard operating procedures as regulations and laws require.
- Maintain chain of command reporting pertinent information directly to the Store Manager and executive level management as needed.
- METRC responsibilities – includes all regulation requirements for handling RFID tags, includes but not limited to: receiving of manifested transfers, finishing packages, sales exports, manifesting product when necessary, maintaining separation in differently licensed product, maintaining integrity of legal procedures, disposing of RFID package tags when sold through in METRC. Maintaining patients in our medical METRC; removing expired patients as needed.
- Ensure validity of all customer and patient information/profiles.
- POS System responsibilities - including input of product, customer/patient and employee information, discounts and coupons, daily auditing of product and cash, and troubleshooting of inventory errors.
- Efficiently replenishing floor inventory while maintaining accurate back stock inventory tracking procedures.
- Assists the Store Manager with responsibilities including ensuring accurate inventory counts and audits, placing orders and ensuring store inventory remains healthy.
- Perform duties of all other positions below assistant manager; fills any staffing needs when necessary.
- Maintain waste logs and follow waste SOPs. Quality control - ensures all unsatisfactory product is reported through appropriate channels and properly disposed of when necessary

Summary
The Wholesale Sales Representative is the first point of contact for client engagement and therefore the customer service at this level must be exemplary. This position requires direct and passive communication with the MIP and Grow to coordinate the fulfillment sales orders, and to facilitate sales from start to finish.

Qualifications
Education:

Summary
Our stores are where customers come to “experience cannabis”, and our Retail Associates are vital to delivering customer service, offering a distinctive shopping experience that drives sales results. The Retail Associate is primarily responsible for providing assistance to patrons and patients through concierge-level service, assuring anyone who visits a store leaves satisfied. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
o Provide outstanding, accurate customer service to patrons by answering or appropriately directing questions and concerns.
o Lead tours of sales floor within the store, making product recommendations based on ongoing research of strains, cannabinoids and vendor-produced products available.
o Maintain knowledge of all cannabis strain profiles, edibles, concentrates, pre-rolls and accessories for sale in the dispensary, utilizing knowledge of how cannabinoid profiles and potency affect the body.
o Retain thorough and comprehensive knowledge of patient and member benefits, discounts, coupons and promotions, encouraging memberships for medical guests.
o Understand the exchange policy, accessories manufacturer warranties, and how to facilitate.
o Abide by product handling procedures, including company safety and health policies as well as regulatory agency compliance.
o Maintain cleanliness and organization of store by stocking items and supplies, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing.
o Answer phone with scripted greeting and provide customer service.
o Accurately record online orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system.
o Confirm accuracy of order displayed in POS (correct product, quantity and/or weight, RFID, Pricing, etc.).
o Verify correct use of MED-required packaging and labeling according to policy.
o Operate cash register by using barcode scanner, computer-based POS system and cash drawer to process transactions, ensuring patrons and patients leave with labeled product inside of a state regulated exit bag with correct change and a receipt.
o Adhere to security protocol and promote safety for patrons, patients and other Team Members.
o Work as part of a team to ensure sales, guest satisfaction and that compliance goals are met by designated timelines.
o Fill all time during scheduled shifts with productive, useful activity, including cleaning, stocking, researching, organizing or completing any other tasks to contribute to company success.

- Maintain cleanliness by washing hands before and after packaging the product and wearing gloves while working.
- Must be able to meet and fill daily quotas set forth by the company.
- Track inventory levels for each location for both floor and backstock.
- Prepare and submit product for the required testing.
- Perform all needed actions within METRC using compliant practices.
- Must be able to be certified as a designated test batch collector.
- Following and enforcing all Standard Operating Procedures and rules set by Ascend Cannabis Co as well as the MED and Colorado Department of Health.

Qualifications
Education:
- High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
- Must maintain current knowledge and adhere to all policy and regulations of the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED); Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and TGS Global
Required Skills & Experience:
- Excellent computer, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills
- Management and leadership experience

- Must be able to acquire MED badge prior to beginning employment
Physical requirements:

Summary
The Compliance Manager will assist with and support the compliance program activities of Ascend Cannabis Co. This position supports the assessment, development, execution, monitoring and ongoing maintenance of compliance activities such as policies and procedures, education and training, compliance reports and investigations. The Compliance Manager conducts research and provides guidance related to state and local laws and regulations which may include giving specific guidance to management, operational leadership, and departments. This position also assists in the development and rollout of compliance trainings and initiatives and monitor and report the status of completion. They are expected to work with internal departments and staff throughout Ascend Cannabis Co. to complete assigned duties and tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a friendly, courteous, and compassionate demeanor at all times.
- Adhere to company mission statement and core values, while maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism.
- Handles the hiring and firing within the compliance department.
- Task management and delegation to the Compliance Assistant Manager and Compliance Associates.
- Maintains correspondence with all department heads on any compliance related matters.
- Ensure compliance, security and health standards are met at all times.
- Perform inventory audits in accordance with company standards.
- Complete all duties in a timely manner consistent with company standards.
- Conduct monthly audits at retail location.
- Conduct quarterly audits at cultivations and MIP locations.
- Generate Simplifya reports during compliance audits and send finalized reports to the management of license being audited.
- Stay up to date on updates, bulletins and compliance tips from the MED and relay that information to the management teams.
- Maintain correspondence with management and be a point of contact for any compliance related questions or issues.
- Create new standard operating procedures or edit current drafts when needed.
- Assist with development at all retail locations as it pertains to compliance.
- Attend store meetings and speak on behalf of the compliance department at meetings when applicable.
- All other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be willing to travel.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Education:
- High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required

Summary
The Joint Roller position is primarily responsible for selecting, preparing, rolling, and distributing joints throughout the company and ensuring all locations are stocked at all times. The Joint Roller is also responsible for compliant and efficient production and tracking within Metrc. Performing all duties in accordance with company best practices at the facility is the most important aspect of the Joint Roller position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Uphold a friendly, courteous, and compassionate demeanor at all times.
- Adhere to company mission statement and core values, while maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism.
- Assures all manufacturing procedures are executed properly and efficiently.
- Clean and sanitize all equipment, ensuring all tools and work areas are free of pests, viruses or disease.
- Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the facility while performing job duties.
- Uphold quality of finished product through employing attention to detail.
- Package all finished product into specified containers for distribution.
- Track inventory of packaged product.
- Select packages to make the joints with.
- Ensure first in, first out is being utilized at all times.
- Ensure no cross contamination is occurring when packaging the product.
- Maintain cleanliness by washing hands before and after packaging the product and wearing gloves while working.
- Must be able to meet and fill daily quotas set forth by the company.
- Track inventory levels for each location for both floor and backstock.
- Prepare and submit product for the required testing.
- Perform all needed actions within METRC using compliant practices.
- Must be able to be certified as a designated test batch collector.
- Following and enforcing all Standard Operating Procedures and rules set by Ascend Cannabis Co as well as the MED and Colorado Department of Health.
- All other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
- Must maintain current knowledge and adhere to all policy and regulations of the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED); Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and TGS Global
Required Skills & Experience:
- Excellent computer, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills

We are looking for a Leader to expand our customer base and eventually achieve a monthly revenue target of $1 million. Responsibilities:
- Create regional sales plans in alignment with business objectives
- Evaluate individual performances
- Report on regional sales results

- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling / cold emailing

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as either a Regional Sales Manager or similar senior sales role – minimum of 5-7 years of Sales Experience in a managerial role a plus
- Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs)
- Ability to lead and motivate a high-performance sales team
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Availability to travel as needed

Position summary:
The Silver Stem Fine Cannabis (SSFC) Budtender is responsible for representing Silver Stem on the retail level and is the face of our brand. The SSFC Budtender is the primary employee that will interact and leave the largest impression on our patrons. It is the shared goal to lead our patrons to fully enjoy their experience, gain knowledge on our product and other cannabis products, and ultimately return to our establishments in the future. The SSFC Budtender is also responsible for maintaining functionality, efficiency and fluidity throughout the store and among all levels of SSFC Staff, Corporate, vendors and others.
