Position Summary:
Cultivation Technicians report to department supervisors and are responsible for the care of medical marijuana plants. Cultivation Technicians will execute operations pertaining to plant care such as cloning, pruning, transplanting, up-potting, watering, feeding, ensuring environmental control, and inspecting plants for signs of deficiency or infestation, as well as labeling and tracking plants using METRC tags. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement cultivation practices as indicated by supervisors and managers.
- Maintain the health of plants through observation and adherence to established protocols.
- Ensure accuracy of plant inventory, including strain names, plant tag numbers, and counts of plants.
- Perform plant maintenance, feedings and irrigation events, and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) according to a set schedule and protocol, as determined by the Head of Cultivation.
- Regularly sanitize tools, equipment, pots and production areas used in the grow facility to ensure sanitary practices.

- Observe and immediately address supervisors about issues with plants, equipment, or environments.

Roles - Assistant Managers assist the General Manager with performing essential management oversight, cash counting functions, team leadership, product handling, and product tracking. They are key holders, and have the ability to open and close the store by themselves when the general manager is not available to do so. - Create and regularly update a flower packing schedule based on flower product shipments, demand by customers and availability of flower in the storage room of the facility
- Instructs and directs packers on the quantities of flower that must be packed from bulk flower
- Responsible for organizing all marihuana products in the inventory storage room, making sure the facility is following FIFO and all items are clearly labeled and organized
- Ensures that all marihuana products are properly labeled with compliance stickers and barcode stickers.

Work Environment
- State & Municipal Law - TFS operates in full compliance with all rules and regulations enforced by the State of Michigan’s Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) and Marihuana Regulatory Agency (MRA). Further, TFS operates in full compliance with the rules and regulations of each municipality they are located within. To operate in compliance with such rules and regulations, employees are required to follow all policies created and enforced by and within TFS facilities.
- Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds at one time
- Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Job duties are performed in restricted access inventory rooms

- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have NO felony convictions
- Background Check/satisfactory professional reference checks
- Valid form of identification
