Position Summary:
Cultivation Technicians report to department supervisors and are responsible for the care of medical marijuana plants. Cultivation Technicians will execute operations pertaining to plant care such as cloning, pruning, transplanting, up-potting, watering, feeding, ensuring environmental control, and inspecting plants for signs of deficiency or infestation, as well as labeling and tracking plants using METRC tags. We are looking for individuals who live with a positive spirit, who aren’t afraid of hard work, and who are passionate about their jobs and the growing of plants. We will train you!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement cultivation practices as indicated by supervisors and managers.
- Maintain the health of plants through observation and adherence to established protocols.
- Ensure accuracy of plant inventory, including strain names, plant tag numbers, and counts of plants.
- Perform plant maintenance, feedings and irrigation events, and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) according to a set schedule and protocol, as determined by the Head of Cultivation.
- Regularly sanitize tools, equipment, pots and production areas used in the grow facility to ensure sanitary practices.
- Abide by high personal hygiene standards.
- Observe and immediately address supervisors about issues with plants, equipment, or environments.
- Break down and set up plant production areas after harvest, including: sweep all work areas, sanitize crop benches, wash down rooms, and prepare to transplant new crops.
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness with regard to plant health and traceability, in order to uphold the company’s standard for quality.
- Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity through coordinated workflow and efficient systems.
- Maintain organization and sanitary conditions within the grow facility.
- Assist with post-harvest duties as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required and Preferred Experience, Education, and Skills
- Passion for plants and their care
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to communicate clearly and accurately.
- Must comply with state regulations and guidelines.
- Ability to pass a background check required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Energetic team player, willing to take direction and learn new skills.
- General plant care and cultivation skills a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Long periods of prolonged standing and sitting.
- Ability to observe and assess material that falls outside established company standards.
- Some crouching or holding uncomfortable positions for extended periods of time; repetitive motions.
- Requires bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment

Title : Inventory Manager, Higher Love Corporation
Reports To: Director of Supply Chain, Higher Love Corporation
Summary
The Inventory Manager works with the Regional General Manager, Director of Retail Operations, and store General Manager’s to provide guidance, direction and oversight to the store teams related to inventory, reconciliations, audits,
and general compliance related to inventory. They assure that the store teams have the appropriate support, structure, and quality management of their inventory to best serve our customers.
The Inventory Manager will be responsible for maximizing quality of in house product, oversight of the inventory process and assuring compliance throughout that process, assisting with budget oversight for each store location and that the inventory for each location falls within appropriate parameters, assists with implementing merchandise programs and
achieving sales and profitability goals.
The role of Inventory Manager requires effective communication, a detail oriented frame of mind, and knowledge of compliance and expectations related to management of the inventory process.
Job Duties
ï‚· Function as in-house Metrc expert
ï‚· Performing physical receipt of cannabis products being delivered, and properly logging the receipt of said product in Metrc
ï‚· Performing intake of received cannabis product into the inventory management software, “MJ Platform” or any other future platforms contracted with Higher Love.
ï‚· Performing inventory audit and reconciliation at least every 30 days.
ï‚· Perform pop-up checks on random inventory items for each store weekly.
ï‚· Ensure deliveries are received on time, and purchase orders match invoices.
ï‚· Assist in the oversight of vendor payment tracking system.
ï‚· Troubleshoot inventory issues that may come up in the course of operating the platform.
ï‚· Ordering Metrc Packaging Tags and ensure that sites do not run short of available tags.
ï‚· Assign new Metrc Tags to product packages as required.
ï‚· Deal with returns, product administrative holds, and write offs.
ï‚· Research and learn the Metrc platform to become more efficient and knowledgeable with the ultimate goal of being able to train others.
ï‚· Self-starting is important in this role and learning the platform will largely be an individual process.
ï‚· Willingness to be responsive outside of traditional work hours in the case of an emergency during store hours. (within reason)
ï‚· Provide direct, transparent, and consistent communication with store management to ensure alignment
between retail stores and corporate office related to inventory needs and audits of store inventory.

ï‚· Ensure inventory counts and overall stock movement is conducted with minimal discrepancies across stores.

Job Description – General Manager

Regional General Manager, Higher Love Corporation
Summary
The General Manager oversees all store operations and functionality, as well as oversees staffing and training, and ensures the best possible customer experience. This position works closely with the Regional General Manager and
Director of Retail operations in effort to provide strategic leadership and direction to the store teams. The General
Manager will be responsible for the in-store customer experience to ensure that locations consistently reflect the company’s brand image. The General Manager will be responsible for maximizing the profitability of the retail stores, controlling operating costs, implementing merchandise programs and achieving sales and profitability goals.
This role requires effective communication and relationship-building with a variety of members across multiple geographies and discipline will be critical.
Job Duties (including, but not limited to):
- Oversee and perform all functions associated with management and oversight of an Adult Recreational Retail
Store(s) and or Medical Marijuana Provisioning Center(s) operating under licensure from the State of Michigan.
- Provide direct, transparent, and consistent communication with store management to ensure alignment between retail stores and corporate office.
- Administer routine inspections to maintain the accurate inventory of all cannabis products.
- Develop and ensure that all Standard Policies and Procedures are accurate and continually updated across retail store portfolio to provide the best practice for staff, customers and patients.
- Train staff to ensure a consistent performance and knowledge base of company standard operating procedures, a comprehensive understanding of all marijuana and marijuana-infused or derived products being sold to customers and patients, and best practices for personnel.
- Manage daily financial reporting requirements and oversee all cash handling procedures.
- Develop and maintain a schedule of all staff.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with all relevant statutes, regulations, and directives in all respects, best practices.
- Build and maintain relationships with local agencies and serve as the point of contact.
- Create a consistent in-store experience for customers across all retail operations; work with operations leaders to ensure store experience meets expectations consistently.
- Ensure all retail facilities operate in full compliance with local, state and federal laws.
- Create all retail KPI’s and work with each manager to meet and exceed.
- Understand the overall retail environment and competitive landscape of the region, such as indirect competition, market awareness, industry trends, etc.
- Coach the team on performance, provide professional development, and nurture corporate culture.
- Ensure inventory counts and overall stock movement is conducted with minimal discrepancies across stores.
- Lead a team of store managers toward effective collaboration and attainment of excellent customer and patient satisfaction.
- Accountable for accurate use of Point of Sale, inventory management systems, state compliance/ METRC, online training system, etc.
- Ensure that workflow and work procedures are documented and that appropriate controls and audits are in place to ensure data and processing integrity.
- Report to senior executives on progress and issues, as needed.
- Monitor the activities of employees, customers, and patients to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
- Manage employees, including hiring and developing, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining, addressing complaints, resolving issues.
- Establish initial and ongoing training for employees to ensure an adequate level of understanding regarding guidelines, policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
Work Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working in a fast-paced retail store environment.
- Minimum of 2 years cannabis experience preferred
- A minimum of 3 years supervisory and/or managerial experience leading a large diverse team of professionals in a fast-paced retail store environment, including making store schedules, compliance, interviewing, training, coaching, and providing performance feedback to employees, ordering product, inventory control, and loss prevention, etc.
- Proven track-record in consultative sales and sales management experience.
- Proven ability to analyze and forecast from P/L and other metric reports.
- Demonstrated capabilities with computer systems and applications including, point of sale, cash inventory management, and customer relationships.
- Solid organizational skills and a high-level attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
- Solid oral and written communication skills, including effective presentation skills and comfort in one-to-one or group situations in a professional and courteous manner.
- Demonstrates a culture of retention.
- Knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws relating to key areas of responsibility.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- BA/BS degree in retail management, business, marketing or similar area preferred or an additional 4 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
