The Harvest Technician provides manual labor which supports the post-cultivation activities and operations of our cultivation department. This position will be responsible for preparing and processing harvests for flower sales and oil extraction. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated, positive individual who can think of no better way to spend the work day than potting, big leafing, and harvesting our cannabis plants with expert care and precision.
Responsibilities
- Participating in cannabis harvest process including offload, harvesting, sanitizing and reloading flower rooms, milling and destruction of cannabis waste
- Harvesting and drying wet cannabis plants
- Accurately weigh and record post-harvest materials and manage cultivation waste
- Cleans and sanitizes dry rooms
- Document any and all activity in state traceability program
- Maintain open communication with management team and co-workers
- Maintain a neat and organized work area allowing for the proper segregation of materials and processes
- Follow all SOPs, verbal directives, training information and policies when performing duties
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hands-on environment with high attention to detail preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic math and computer skills

The Role
We're looking for a Lab Technician to join our Green Thumb team! This position is responsible for assisting with lab production, which includes but is not limited to distillation, extraction, winterization and production of cannabis infused products. Our ideal candidate for this role is familiar with standard laboratory practices and has previously worked in production laboratory environments. Cannabis is a highly regulated industry, so prior experience working with regulatory requirements and compliance, as well as workplace safety, is highly desirable. If you've previously worked in cannabis extraction and processing – even better!
Responsibilities
- Prepare laboratory equipment and cannabis plant materials for extraction
- Operate intricate extraction equipment in accordance with Green Thumb SOPs
- Process cannabis concentrates and extracts
- Deliver on production goals, while focused on safety and quality
- Produce product per recipes and SOP's, maintaining high quality standards
- Clean and maintain extraction equipment and laboratory facility
- Store supplies and equipment, dispose of waste according to guidelines, and keep laboratory working areas sanitary and safe
- Wash and sterilize laboratory glassware
- Employee may also be responsible for monitoring production line and collecting samples for analysis.
- Follow SOP and standard analytical procedures to meet Good Laboratory Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices compliance

Qualifications
- Associate or 4-year degree with relevant college courses in biology, chemistry, or physics required
- Prior production laboratory or manufacturing experience preferred
- Prior experience working in regulated environments preferred
- Prior extraction experience desirable, prior cannabis extraction experience highly desirable
- Basic math skills
- Familiarity with OSHA guidelines for dealing with hazardous chemicals

The Role
The Maintenance Manager for Green Thumb Industries reports directly to the General Manager. As the Maintenance Manager, you will have full responsibility for the maintenance organization and all equipment, inclusive of production and facility. In this role, you will implement and maintain maintenance objectives and initiatives. This individual will develop and implement strategies and tactics related to the maintenance organization. They will also oversee all aspects of the maintenance process, from installation and upkeep to inspection and repair, often assuming a hands-on role in one or more stages of the process.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Business Administration, Production/Operations Management)
- 10+ years’ experience in an industrial maintenance environment, with 5+ years in a leadership role
- Experience managing budgets, developing manpower forecasts, and analyzing financial/operational data
- Knowledgeable regarding Industrial maintenance processes (e.g., preventative maintenance, material handling equipment, power equipment, facilities upkeep) to include project management
- Experience managing maintenance within an Operations Excellence environment (Toyota Production System (TPS), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean) with responsibility for developing processes, implementing programs, and ensuring deployment
- Relevant Project Management or Maintenance Reliability experience
- Certification(s) as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required

The purpose of this position is to ensure the successful quality and compliance management operations at the Cottage Grove,
MN cultivation facility. This position will play a key role in developing, implementing, and upgrading quality assurance
policies and standard operating procedures, as well as compliance, development, and implementation of HACCP
programs, product quality tracking systems, FDA standards, ingredient management programs, allergen and sanitization
management programs, product safety practices, internal and external audits, etc. This position will also ensure
compliance with all GTI corporate operating procedures, as well as applicable federal, state, county, and municipal laws,
regulations, ordinances, and regulations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports the Quality Department and ensure all employees understand and follow all standard operating procedures
(SOPs).
- Define, implement, and improve the Quality Management System including development of process and product
testing to ensure quality standards are met and oversee determination of finished product disposition.
- Partner with management to lead quality initiatives that develop and maintain a high performing, scalable, and
compliant quality system.
- Implement, maintain, and audit sanitation and quality control practices that ensure the safety and quality of cannabis
including purity and consistency.
- Implement HACCP, allergen, and sanitization management programs.
- Review and approve decisions about whether to investigate a cannabis product complaint and review and approve
the findings and follow-up action of any investigation performed.
- Perform or oversee routine audits of compliance processes to assure accuracy and thoroughness of completion.
- Participate in State regulatory compliance inspections, investigate and resolve compliance concerns, issues, or
violations.
- Analyze facility trends to assess potential areas of continued non-compliance.
- Publish monthly metrics focused on facility current QA/QC progress.

- Write Quality SOPs or other standards as necessary.

The Maintenance Manager for Green Thumb Industries reports directly to the General Manager. As the Maintenance Manager, you will have full responsibility for the maintenance organization and all equipment, inclusive of production and facility. In this role, you will implement and maintain maintenance objectives and initiatives. This individual will develop and implement strategies and tactics related to the maintenance organization. They will also oversee all aspects of the maintenance process, from installation and upkeep to inspection and repair, often assuming a hands-on role in one or more stages of the process.
Responsibilities
- Create and coordinate plant maintenance strategy and tactics
- Monitor and enforce quality, safety standards, policies, procedures and directives by developing, distributing, and/or maintaining procedures and supporting documentation
- Oversee and direct departmental budget
- Monitor and enforce associate compliance with state and federal regulations (i.e. OSHA, Hazardous Waste, NFPA,etc.) relating to maintenance operations
- Forecast and follow up on staffing, workload and performance results
- Implement and develop maintenance asset management processes
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and ensuring diversity awareness to provide opportunities for training and learning and growth.
- Ensure all assigned maintenance activities are being performed safely and according to plant and corporate safety standards and policies
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and develop sustainable solutions for issues with equipment including PLC controlled equipment, plant electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic, ventilation systems and mechanical systems including motors, instrumentation, and distribution
- Assist in preparing plant capital plans and cost estimates for projects
- Coordinate installation and startup of equipment as required
- Coordinate equipment shutdowns with production
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Business Administration, Production/Operations Management)
- 10+ years' experience in an industrial maintenance environment, with 5+ years in a leadership role
- Experience managing budgets, developing manpower forecasts, and analyzing financial/operational data
- Knowledgeable regarding Industrial maintenance processes (e.g., preventative maintenance, material handling equipment, power equipment, facilities upkeep) to include project management
- Experience managing maintenance within an Operations Excellence environment (Toyota Production System (TPS), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean) with responsibility for developing processes, implementing programs, and ensuring deployment
- Relevant Project Management or Maintenance Reliability experience
- Certification(s) as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) preferred.
- Valid driver's license required

The Security Guard position ensures the protection, safeguarding and security of company assets, employees, patients, contractors, invitees and others; complies with federal, state and local legal regulations; takes direction from the Security Supervisor; and exercises independent judgment, when needed, in the course of carrying out overall responsibilities and other activities as assigned.

Job Duties:
· Manages incidents and emergency situations, including the execution of procedures, coordination of resources, and on-scene response.

The Role
Do you love working with your hands? GTI is looking for a Harvest Technician to join our cultivation team. The Harvest Technician provides manual labor which supports the post-cultivation activities and operations of our cultivation department. This position will be responsible for preparing and processing harvests for flower sales and oil extraction. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated, positive individual who can think of no better way to spend the work day than potting, big leafing, and harvesting our cannabis plants with expert care and precision.
Responsibilities
- Participating in cannabis harvest process including offload, harvesting, sanitizing and reloading flower rooms, milling and destruction of cannabis waste
- Harvesting and drying wet cannabis plants
- Accurately weigh and record post-harvest materials and manage cultivation waste
- Cleans and sanitizes dry rooms
- Document any and all activity in Illinois traceability program
- Maintain open communication with management team and co-workers
- Maintain a neat and organized work area allowing for the proper segregation of materials and processes
- Follow all SOPs, verbal directives, training information and policies when performing duties
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hands-on environment with high attention to detail preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic math and computer skills
- Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense and resourcefulness
- Attention to detail and ability to focus on one task for extended periods of time
- Adapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently throughout a workday with given directives

Position: Cultivator I

As a member of the cultivation team, you will support the team in the growing and harvesting of our medical cannabis plants. This position is full-time & year-round. Rotating weekend work is required.

· Perform crop maintenance procedures at different stages of plant development
· Follow Integrated Pest Management guidelines including strict adherence to environmental and hygienic controls, and perform IPM tasks as necessary to control and/or eliminate insects and diseases
· Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to sanitation standards
· Complete duties in the irrigation room including nutrient mixing and irrigation maintenance
· Maintain accurate records and logs of cultivation activities on both paper and computer systems: including, but not limited to, crop maintenance, harvesting, irrigation, and building maintenance
· Assist in maintenance of cultivation equipment, building, and grounds
· Adherence to all safety and security protocols
