Inventory Specialist - Cultivation

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Ability to understand, create and document best practices in cultivation inventory management & related processes – dry harvest to final inventory recordation for flower, popcorn, shake/trim
Work with Post Harvest Manager to document finished dry harvest inventory (by harvest)
Schedule lab testing and ensure all metrc entries from dry harvest to finished inventory is completed accurately and timely
Advanced Excel skills, and experience with both Outlook and Word
Take ownership of inventory data – create and maintain
Have active role, and be proactive in regular physical inventory counts
Knowledge of required inputs and procedures for the packaging and manifesting of all finished inventory
Ability to monitor packaging and related supplies and assist with timely purchasing requirements – includes general facility admin purchasing needs
Ability to follow company processes for shipping packaged inventory accurately and timely – including double counts and checklist management as part of required manifest paperwork
Knowledge of Nevada state regulations pertaining to the cannabis industry, as well as metrc inventory processes, and the ability to maintain compliance with regulations and processes
Demonstrated critical thinking skills – ability to identify challenges and gaps in advance and ‘ask the right questions’ as required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively with all team members
Ability to act as key inventory team member for ongoing communications with both Sales and Finance
Ensure cross communication with Production Inventory Specialist to coordinate shipping
Experience – Minimum 1 year in the following:
Experience in working directly with metrc entries for inventory management and manifesting out wholesale orders and lab testing transfers
Hands on experience, direct or under general supervision, in setting up and maintaining an inventory management system, including managing all supplies, order scheduling, manifesting and meeting required deadlines
Under general supervision, experience in process flow management and creating operational efficiency opportunities
