The Inventory Control Specialist is crucial in maintaining the accurate and timely fulfilment of orders. Driving process' and best practices of efficient handling of the company's products and supplies. A successful candidate is a reliable, self-starting professional with excellent record-keeping abilities. The right candidate will have a strong sense of integrity and professionalism, with great attention to detail and a business mindset.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Must have open availability including working nights and long shifts.

· Coordinate and facilitate the movement of inventory within the store

· Work with the Inventory Administrator to ensure all inventory data is accurate

· Audit the physical inventory to ensure that the virtual inventory aligns precisely

· Research inventory out of balance situations and adjustments; implement controls to reduce adjustments

· Create discrepancy report to provide the quantity and value of lost or missing inventory and report to appropriate Management

· Must be exceptionally well organized to handle large amount of inventory data, analysis and reporting

· Work with managers to maintain an accurate account of non-stock and unavailable inventory

· Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

· Must be 21 years or older and be able to pass a background check

· Must have a high school diploma

· 3+ Years inventory control experience required

· METRC, ERP, and Cannabis seed to sale experience highly preferred

· Strong math skills, proficiency using Microsoft Excel and Word

· Detail-oriented, dependable and able to work well both alone and with others

· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

· Employee needs to be able to walk, sit, stand, crouch and reach throughout the day

Full Time: $15 - $17 an hour based on experience and successful interview, full benefits and growth opportunities.

Job description

? Inventory Controls: Keep inventory manager and operations manager informed of all products needing to be restocked or adjusted throughout shift. Scan and verify manually all items to ensure selling of correct items during transactions. Order intake. Adjusting quantities and making things unsellable in the system.

? Product Knowledge: At the start of all shifts, it is necessary to check for any new products that are coming in for the day. This can be done by checking emails and looking over the manifests to prepare for the shift ahead.

? Daily Organization: Ensure all products in every category is properly displayed and signage up to date. Keep work space and store neat and organized always. Use something, put it away when finished. Preparing inventory room and back room for incoming orders.

? Cleaning: Every shift staff are responsible for maintaining a clean work atmosphere. Areas of special interest include: dusting surfaces, sweeping, mopping before/after hours, bathrooms, break room, office, cleaning all glass, displays, garbage emptied, recycling, lot maintenance.

? Policy Knowledge: Regular review of company policy information and state law. Ask questions for what you do not have the answers to.

Job Description Role and Responsibilities

Assists in essential responsibilities of the inventory department and ensures state compliance standards and Tropicanna standards are met by preforming the following duties. Verifies delivery of new products, enters into POS system, prepares product for warehouse storage.

Enters required delivery in-take information set by BCC into POS and METRC system.

Scans required documents in POS once in-take has been finalized

Responsible for properly buying out employee samples and assists Purchasing Agent with the distribution of employee samples

Receives products during in-take and verifies state requirements are met

Builds out product information into POS system or updates existing product information

Assists with stocking storage areas and sales displays

Prepares products for the sales floor and backstock

Maintains warehouse clean and organized at all times

Participates in weekly, monthly and quarterly audits

Complies with all inventory control procedures

Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, overnights

Qualifications and Education Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

JOB SUMMARY

The Inventory Specialist oversees the ordering, storing, receiving, and distributing processes of the organization's products and supplies. Their main duties include controlling the flow of supplies and equipment, tracking, and analyzing inventory maintenance.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES

• Inspect returned merchandise
• Track incoming and outgoing products
• Provide inventory control reports as required
• Maintain count accuracy (digital and physical counting)
• Updating database with incoming and outgoing products
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Maintain a safety while using equipment and tools
• Dispose of obsolete inventory as directed
• Demonstrate accurately and thoroughly in a timely manner to meet production standards.
• Properly label and sticker product, in order to ensure fulfillment of deliveries.
• Work in collaboration with all members of the vault to ensure production standards are delivered upon.
• Able to work weekend and off hours.
