Position Description
Revel Cultivars, LLC is a Tier II cultivator located in the rural San Luis Valley, Moffat, Colorado and is hiring
(2) Associate Grower positions for their newly constructed, state-of-the-art sealed hydroponic (DWC) greenhouse operation for Fall/Winter 2021. This position will report directly to the Assistant Grower and will be responsible for carrying out daily cultivation operations. The Associate Grower will support the
Assistant Grower on a full-time basis to carry out the tasks assigned to cultivate a healthy and stable growing environment for 12,000 square feet of perpetual greenhouse cultivation and up to 17,000 square feet of seasonal outdoor cultivation space.
The ideal candidate should have at least 1-3 years’ experience in the commercial cannabis industry and be comfortable working independently and in small teams. Candidates that have start-up experience will thrive in this position. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of identifying various signs of plant health, stress, disease, and common pests. Additionally, candidates should have a base knowledge of how to maintain optimal cannabis plant health and how to increase crop yields through: low stress training techniques, IPM regimens, organic and salt-based nutrient additives. Operational knowledge of at-scale harvesting procedures, packaging, drying/curing practices, and inventory tracking system experience is strongly desired in an ideal candidate.
Responsibilities:

Provide feedback to Assistant Grower that could improve processes, yields, and/or overall operations

Irrigation Technician Sun House Ventures
Job Description
Irrigation Technicians are responsible for all hands-on irrigation and fertigation of cannabis plants, monitoring plants and irrigation lines to ensure all plants are being watered, maintaining and cleaning irrigation lines and all associated irrigation equipment, cleaning and sanitation activities. Irrigation Technicians report directly to the Cultivation Lead.
The right candidate demonstrates proficiency, organization, calmness, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment; works independently, and prioritizes quality and integrity.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct operations in professional manner to ensure State Compliance Laws are upheld.
- Perform all assigned tasks in the grow.
- Maintain and follow company and cultivation department policies and procedures.
- Follow crop cycle scheduling and organization to help cultivation manager precisely project all plant needs.
- Follow all issued cultivation SOPs accurately.
- Fill out all forms and logs associated with cultivation responsibilities.
- Cataloguing and maintaining organization of plants from clone-to-harvest using our logging system.
- Work within the company continuous improvement system and strive to increase productivity.
- Must manage their time during work efficiently to meet goals while consistently producing quality product.
- Demonstrate ownership, accountability, initiative and quality of work.
- Daily reports + noting agendas and planning priorities.
- Fill out all logs consistently and accurately.
- Maintain up-to-date work shift responsibilities on company calendar, and inform Cultivation Manager of any changes.
- Morning facility and plant observation walk-throughs.
- Monitoring Facility for issues.
- Wash and sanitize all equipment ensuring all tools are free of pests, viruses or disease.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the cultivation facility.
- Performing other assigned job duties as assigned.
- Working knowledge of various strains, styles and types of cannabis they are cultivating.
- Continuous learning of various strains, styles and types of cannabis they are cultivating.
- Skill in analyzing potential problems with a plant or the product being processed.
- Working knowledge of irrigation/fertigation, fertilizer mixing, and plant nutritional requirements.

- Clean-up of all processing areas and equipment at the end of every shift.
Specific Plant Care Duties
- Nutrients mixing, ph management and feeding

- Daily irrigation system feeding
- Routine flushing and soaking of irrigation lines and components
- 2x/ week bluelab meter calibration & log
- Monitoring of drip emitters to ensure they function properly
- Replacing, soaking, and cleaning drip emitters as needed and on a regular schedule
- Following specific feeding schedule for plants based on their stage in the crop cycle.

- Running floor fans & to evaporate excess feed water
- Completing and signing all logs
- Daily reports + noting tomorrow’s agenda & priorities
OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Observe and follow all company established clean room policies and rules
- Ability to be flexible and work in various sectors of the department as needed an/or requested by their direct supervisor; this may include but is not limited to, helping grow staff with small tasks, cleaning and/or moving supplies and equipment and/or helping the packaging department or working at other locations as needed.
- Must work well with others and ability to adapt quickly to changes in policy, procedure, methods and technique.
- Use of independent judgment regarding product processing, keeping quality, projections and goals in mind.
- Employee must be able to follow basic instructions and ability to take constructive criticism from their managers to maintain quality standards and production goals.

- Cultivation staff must understand and implement the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the company and the cultivation department.
- Cultivation staff should have a basic understanding of the cannabis laws, rules and regulations set forth by the state.

Working Conditions
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance) and must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with plants and product.

- Requires prolonged standing and some bending, stooping, sitting and stretching for extended periods of time while maintaining focus - some movement may be repetitive.
- Work is performed in a fast-paced cannabis grow location.
- Work is subject to weather conditions, including rain and hot or cold temperatures.
- Will require working rotating shifts with varied hours/day, including evenings weekends, holidays, and special events.
- May eventually include working an alternative workweek.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience processing cannabis or other botanicals preferred.
- Previous agricultural/warehouse/manufacturing/laborer experience a plus.
- Must be 21 years old per state regulations and pass a criminal background check.
