Southwest Caregivers, a fast growing cannabis distributor is looking for daytime inventory supervisor to help manage and drive efficiency in their cannabis warehouse. The Packaging Specialist is responsible for assembling and packaging products manufactured by the cultivation and processing facility. They work directly under the Production Manager to meet daily and weekly goals put forth my management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Weigh, assemble, and package products according to standard operating procedure (SOP)
- Sort and package raw flower material into packages
- Clean and sterilize equipment and workspace
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Meet required KPIs on a daily/weekly basis
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a regulated field that adheres to health and safety policies and procedures required
- Must be able to follow SOP
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to comply with all laws, regulations, and policies associated with the industry
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Previous experience in manufacturing, packaging, and/or warehouse is a plus
Physical and Mental Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, move and/or position oneself, communicate, operate and/or prepare, place, position objects, tools, or controls. The employee must occasionally move packages weighing up to 25 lb. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close observation and the ability to adjust focus. The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual, with or without reasonable accommodation, to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

Job Description
Southwest Caregivers is looking for a Distribution Operator to become a core member of our team. This position is demanding, fast-paced, and requires teamwork to have a successful day. The Distribution Operator will work directly in the day to day fulfillment of sales orders and closely with our inventory team and dispatcher to ensure on-time and proper delivery, as well as driving a top tier customer experience.
The Distribution Operator will take on regular computer tasks, that include the generation of shipping manifests in Metrc, and managing or adjusting sales orders in Distru. Distru and Metrc knowledge is a huge plus. This position requires high attention to detail, strong communication skills, organizational skills, and a willingness to be positive and flexible, despite innate challenges in a start-up company.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Demonstrates functional skill to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems and other general account inquiries over the phone
- Follows SOPs and helps drive an efficient day to day business
- Maintain a high level of world class customer service/professionalism to a wide range of customers
- Responsible for customer orders; manual and order entry, validation, and maintenance
- Assist in the modification of orders and order tracking
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers
- When appropriate, follow established escalation procedures to expedite prompt resolution
- Works independently and seeks Supervisor support when necessary
- Supports other lines of business as volumes dictate
- Responsible for customer inquiries and questions
- Follow up to customer inquiries by taking specific action in a timely manner
- Demonstrates ability to achieve established goals and performance metrics
- Be one of the primary contacts with our partner brands
Requirements
- California residency with valid ID is required
- Your own transportation and occasional driving may be required
- Your own cell phone is required
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended period of time
- Fluency in Excel, Google Drive, Microsoft Office Suite is required
- Metrc and Distru cannabis platform experience is required
- Detail oriented and organized
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Fluency in both written and spoken English preferred

The Inventory Specialist contributes to the success of the company by assisting the Distribution Manager and Production Manager in the control of all inventory, incoming and outgoing.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for handling bulk and pre-packaged cannabis, as well as weighing, packaging, and labeling.
- Demonstrates the ability to anticipate customer needs by assessing what is on the floor and what product is moving to intake
- Manages product outgoing and receiving - In charge of receiving and reviewing product upon receipt and effectively communicating with vendors for any discrepancies
- Ensures accuracy in labeling and all product information
- Demonstrates a high level of detail and accuracy in all inventory-related tasks
- Ability to monitor changes in team morale and/or performance while maintaining effective communication with the managers
- Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management
- Acts with integrity and honesty while activity promoting the culture and the values of the company
- Inspects all incoming products to include mold and disease, test result verification and product weight accuracy
- Maintains a professional demeanor during periods of high volume or stressful situations while setting a positive example for the shift team
- Generate inventory reports and cycle counts; investigate discrepancies with Distribution Operator
- Creates product displays and organizes inventory as needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to frequently use standard office equipment such as but not limited to computers, telephones, copiers, and scanners
- Ability to deliver quality results under high pressure deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to excessively stand and/or walk for extended periods of time and seldom climb stairs at some locations
- Ability to seldom push/pull/lift/carry up to forty (40) pounds
- Ability to maintain long periods of mental alertness and attention to detail while setting priorities, meeting critical deadlines, and following up on assignments
- Ability to function in an environment with frequent interruptions

They will also possess a keen eye for detail and diligence as they are imperative in custodial maintenance jobs.
