The agency is comprised of three major operational programs; the Distilled Spirits Program, the Marijuana Program, and the Public Safety Program. All three programs are supported by the Administration, Financial Services, and Support Services divisions. Revenue generated from these programs helps support state and local government programs.
What will you do?
Perform the duties necessary to move distilled spirits through the distribution center in preparation for shipment to the 282 liquor stores throughout the State of Oregon. Operate all motorized equipment used in the distribution center. Equipment is used for loading and unloading inbound freight, palletizing, stocking and filling flow racks with merchandise. This position is critical to the overall movement of merchandise.
Some of the duties you will perform are:
- Unload inbound Merchandise: Operate forklift to unload inbound merchandise; Forklift may utilize attachments such as “Push/Pull” or “clamp”, and As necessary, re-stack product that has shifted in transit.
- Put away/Pick Full Pallets: Operate forklift and RF Scanner to move merchandise from receiving area to storage location; Operate forklift and RF scanner to pick full pallets of merchandise from storage locations and move to staging are or load onto trailers.
- Line Driver: Operate forklift and RF scanner to pick full pallets of product from storage location and move to production areas
- Replenishment: J picks – Operate remote order selector and RF scanner to pick product from storage location and move to production areas; F1s- Operate forklift and RF scanner to pick full pallets from storage area and move to production areas.
- Dock Picks: Operate electric cart and RF scanner to pick will call; Stage and label orders as instructed.
Working Conditions:
Considerable stooping, lifting, twisting and reaching. Considerable physical effort required. Operating the equipment requires good vision, depth perception, hand/eye coordination, and judgment of spatial relationships. This position has the need to frequently mount and dismount the forklift. Forklifts must be driven over dock plates and into trucks for unloading. There is an average of eight trucks received per day at the main warehouse and five trucks per day at the Milport warehouse. Traffic varies between the two warehouses: Milport has less equipment and employees while the main warehouse if busy and has a high level of traffic within its aisles
What do you need to qualify?
One year of general warehouse experience or six months of experience as a Liquor Distribution Worker 1 with the OLCC.
This must have included some experience or training in operating one or more of the following pieces of equipment: forklift, riding pallet jack, electric cart or remote order AND
Must be at least 18 years of age.

- This position is required to complete and hold internally issued Fork Lift Certification.
- This position is required to be proficient in the use of all OLCC equipment, including: Electric utility carts, 5,000 lb. capacity electric powered fork lifts, electric sweeper, propane sweeper, 3,000 lb. remote order selector, electric pallet jack, electric riding pallet jack.

Position Summary
The person in this role will work under the direction of the Foreman in the operations of the Hudson, NH Distributions system. Primarily assisting in the completion of all facets of water system distribution and maintenance work. Including but not limited to gate valve exercising, hydrant maintenance, meter reading, water distribution system and facility maintenance, and interaction with the public. New Hampshire D1 or T1 drinking water licenses are advantageous, but not required.
Requirements/Preferences
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is advantageous but not required.
- This position is a Full-Time position, with on-call responsibilities; after hours work, and shift work may be required.
- Commonwealth of Massachusetts Grade I Drinking Water Distribution license is advantageous, but not required at time of hire; required within 1 year of hire.
- Ability to read, analyze interpret and respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.
- Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions;
- Ability to utilize an electronic tablet for daily work, asset management duties.
- Massachusetts Class B CDL or 2B hoisting is desirable but not required.

Functions/Responsibilities
- Assist with excavations and repairs to water system appurtenances including but not limited to water mains, water services, fire hydrants, watershed, and related facilities/equipment and meters.
- Assist with distribution operations and maintenance including gate valve inspection & maintenance, fire hydrant inspection, maintenance, and all required repairs.
- Semi-annual system wide hydrant flushing conducted overnights is a required task (approximately 8 weeks per year combined).
- Inspect and maintain small and large equipment.
- Performs a variety of tasks such as removing forms, placing pipe in trench, jack hammering; and hand tool work.
- Work harmoniously, cooperatively and courteously with others at all times.
- Assist in the installation of equipment, repair/replace existing facilities and equipment.
- Hand excavation work, spreading and leveling stone, gravel, sand and other materials using hand tools.
- Lift, carry and hold materials, tools and supplies.
- Clean tools, equipment, materials and work area daily.
- Be willing to learn water system operations in order to assist with these tasks as needed.
- Turns off water service for non-payment of charges.
- Watershed, and facility general maintenance, and grounds keeping.
- Perform miscellaneous other duties and responsibilities as required.
- Conducting winter snow plowing (after hours) is a requirement of this position.
- Additional duties as assigned.

Job Description
Southwest Caregivers is looking for a Distribution Operator to become a core member of our team. This position is demanding, fast-paced, and requires teamwork to have a successful day. The Distribution Operator will work directly in the day to day fulfillment of sales orders and closely with our inventory team and dispatcher to ensure on-time and proper delivery, as well as driving a top tier customer experience.
The Distribution Operator will take on regular computer tasks, that include the generation of shipping manifests in Metrc, and managing or adjusting sales orders in Distru. Distru and Metrc knowledge is a huge plus. This position requires high attention to detail, strong communication skills, organizational skills, and a willingness to be positive and flexible, despite innate challenges in a start-up company.
