Qualification Must Have:

Qualifications include:
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline e.g. chemistry, biology, etc.
- Knowledge of analytical chemistry, regulatory requirements such as ISO 17025, local, state, and federal regulations.
- Proficient in communication, solving problems, and representing the company.
- Experience in performing in a fast-paced, high throughput, regulated cannabis testing laboratory or similar laboratory.
Working conditions
The Scientist 1 will work primarily on-site at the laboratory but also may be required to travel for conferences and meetings.

The Laboratory Technician will be part of a team which utilizes various analytical chemistry and microbiological procedures for analyzing cannabis and cannabis products.
Primary Job Responsibilities
The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for the preparation, processing and destruction of test samples, maintaining run logs and instrument logs, preparing solutions, data entry and analysis, as well
as various other tasks required to keep the laboratory clean and functioning. Instrumentation used in the lab, including LCUV, LCMSMS, GCFID, ICPMS, and BioMerieux microbiological system.
Requirements
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in science, chemistry or pharmaceutical related discipline
- Experience with instrumentation such as: HPLC, LC/MS/MS, GC, and ICPMS, Sciex, Agilent
- Minimum of 2 years of lab experience, working in a lab environment
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft office
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of analytical instrumentation

This position is responsible for conducting sampling in the field and providing relevant documentation to the Laboratory for processing. Must be comfortable working with and around cannabis products. Job Summary
- Drive to a Medical Marijuana Grower Processor (GP) Site in PA. Drive times will vary depending on location.
- Follow all internal laboratory and State regulations while taking samples at the Grower Processor site.
- Maintain records of samples
- Maintain sampling supply/equipment inventory
- Follow good documentation practices, data integrity principles and safety behaviors
- Ensure proper Sample Submission form protocols are followed
- Follow all traffic laws
- Coordinate intake activities with Client Services Representative(s) and Laboratory Director
- Perform other duties as requested by Management Sample Collection:
- Randomly select samples for testing using the defined standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Document sample and client information
- Maintain proper chain of custody of the samples from the client to the laboratory
- Receive samples and verify appropriate receipt conditions, including weighing sample.
- Complete all necessary intake forms Preferred Skills
- RELIABILITY is a must.
- Flexible- it may be days between jobs, and sometimes you will need to drive 1-2 hours to get to the sampling site
- Organization- Will need to fill out paperwork, and understand paperwork received from each GP.
- Client services – You will represent PCR Labs and will need to work with the GP and the transportation agents.
- Adaptable- Each GP will vary, the sampling procedures will stay the same, but the candidate must be comfortable knowing that they will have a different experience at each GP.
- Mobility – Must be able to get into a sterile suit at some GP’s.
- Must have reliable means of transportation.

Job Title: Microbiologist
Job Summary
Individual is responsible for working in the laboratory and carrying out specific R&D and validation of specific R&D projects. The individual will prepare validation protocols, reports, and standard operating procedures for new methods and sample preparation. The Microbiologist aids in keeping PCR’s science program at the forefront of capability, compliance, and customer service in the cannabis testing industry.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Continuously develop and maintain the highest standards of cannabis analytical services with respect to quality, safety, compliance, capability, cost, and turnaround time.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of the cannabis industry with a focus on science and technology.
- Represent the company to the greater community with a focus on the cannabis industry, the regulatory bodies overseeing the industry, and the local community.
- Perform routine testing and analysis as needed.
- Coordinate and support all management of operations as needed.
- Troubleshoot instrument issues when needed, and coordinate outside vendors for repairs when required.
- Help train new employees on scientific methodology.
- Lead investigations for nonconforming work and aid in the implementation of CAPA
- Collaborate with management to further the progress of cannabis science.
- Develops, modifies, validates and verifies test methods.
- Analyzes results, including statements of conformity and interpretations. Answer technical questions from sales team on client requests.
- Assists management with customer requests, including complaints.
- Recognizes deviations from normal trend and inform laboratory management of any problems and/or deviations that may affect the integrity of the data and participates in corrective action of problems.
Qualifications
Must Have:
- A Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline e.g. microbiology, biology, chemistry, etc. with 2+ years of research experience in a regulated environment.
- Extensive knowledge of microbiology and its associated techniques including, but not limited to, general enumeration, pathogen testing by VIDAS, qPCR, and species identification.
- Validation of compendium methods, new matrices.
- Ability to explain these in a manner that the lay person can understand.
- Knowledge of chemistry testing is value added.
- Previous experience with regulatory requirements such as ISO 17025 and knowledge of the current state of Pennsylvania’s medical marijuana program is value added.
- Excellent at communication, solving problems, and representing the company.
- Experience managing and performing microbiology testing in a regulated environment.
- Experience with managing others and collaborating with internal and external partners.

Job Summary
PCR Labs is adding to its data team and is looking for a data analyst who will work with lab techs and management to extract and transform data, create reports and upload results to the company website for client viewing.
Job Responsibilities
The position will be responsible for creating and running various reports from the internal software. Review and ensure all information on the reports is accurate and correct. Identify opportunities for process improvements in reporting and development, while providing value through insightful analytics and problem-solving. The reporting data analyst will be responsible for identifying data trends and performing data analysis.
The data analyst will collaborate with the internal laboratory team and with customers (through email and on the telephone) to resolve issues. They will process and review HPLC, GC, ICP-MS, and LC-MS/MS data. They will generate certificates of analysis (COA) for all testing.
Primary Goal
The primary goal of the Reporting Data Analyst is to prepare accurate client analytical testing reports. Review all reports for accuracy before sending to the client. Analyze and develop recommendations on cannabis laboratory reporting processes.
