Job Description
We are looking for a Junior Vendor Payments Specialist to own the monitoring of our vendor payments ecosystem, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This is a unique opportunity on the forefront of fintech and procurement innovation. The role will report directly into the Senior Operations Manager and work closely with Operations and Finance teams.
Responsibilities:
Identify discrepancies pertaining to expected charges vs. actual charges on Order single-use credit cards
Utilize internal reporting to identify potential fraudulent activity
Maintain full ownership of payment failures and provide swift resolution
Liaise cross departmentally with finance and AP teams
Work to build out concrete processes/SOPs for the above tasks with scalability in mind
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Ability to focus on recurring tasks with an emphasis on speed and accuracy
Exceptional communications and problem solving skills
Always thinking of ways to improve and streamline processes.
Demonstrated experience and proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and reporting tools. Excel, PowerPoint, Slack, and SQL (not required but a plus!)
Experience working with Mac OS
Preferred Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree
A hungry attitude to learn new things and go above and beyond to get things done!
Introductory experience in reconciliation, ecommerce, and fraud prevention

Job Description
Responsibilities
Process inbound invoices for order reconciliation, providing a seamless & accurate experience for our clients.
Resolve order payment issues and work to implement scalable solutions that allow us to prevent them in the future.
Own the inboxes responsible for fielding invoices, vendor order questions, and payment issues.
Initiate frequent follow up to vendors, requesting invoices, ensuring that orders are being processed in a timely manner.
Field cross departmental internal requests and provide thoughtful resolution.

Job Description
- Develop, manage and expand supplier partnerships across core consumable (office supplies, janitorial, pack/ship/retail) and new growth categories (cannabis, healthcare, MRO)
- Collaborate with Insights, Product, and Operations leadership to streamline how we target concentrations of spend and how better options are recommended to businesses and/or implemented.
- Explore and drive new initiatives, like curating industry-specific product assortments, and/or sourcing directly from manufacturers and wholesalers
- Educate internal stakeholders about our preferred supplier network on an ongoing basis to improve customer outcomes and expectations management
- Develop internal workflows to manage ad hoc sourcing requests and bulk order optimizations
- Build out a team to expand the reach of these initiatives
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to manage a mix of short-term tactical and long-term strategic initiatives
- Comfort executing in fast-paced environments and managing ambiguity - you will be the founding member of this function!
- Self-directed and naturally driven with an eye for continuous improvement
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across departments and externally
- 3+ years experience in strategic sourcing, negotiations, procurement, supplier and/or category management
- Proficient in Excel/Sheets (required) and SQL (strongly preferred)
