This is an entry level position for a licensed Cannabis Distribution company. We are looking for an organized individual to join our Admin/Warehouse team. The data entry position will consist of keeping track of invoices and purchase orders along with assisting with the daily operations for the warehouse team.
Responsibilities
- Compiles data from purchase orders, invoices, and accounting reports
- Enter data into computer to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping, and other records
- Labeling and stocking inventory in appropriate locations
- Track and correct inventory – Inventory discrepancies, sample displays, destruction of raw materials

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
- month and end-year process
- accounts payable/receivable
- cash receipts
- general ledger
- payroll and utilities
- treasury, budgeting
- cash forecasting
- revenue and expenditure variance analysis
- capital assets reconciliations
- trust account statement reconciliations,
- check runs
- fixed asset activity
- debt activity
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
- Coordinate and complete annual audits
- Provide recommendations
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Meet financial accounting objectives
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
SKILLS
- Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software, and databases
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
- High attention to detail and accuracy

The chief financial officer position is accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results. The individual will also ensure compliance with all HPC Corporate operating procedures, as well as applicable federal, state, county, and municipal laws, regulations, ordinances, and regulations in regards to finance and record-keeping. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Plan, lead and direct the implementation of strategic business plans.
· Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and financial reports.
· Work directly with executive team and Board of Directors to uncover financial opportunities and efficiency improvements for business.
· Develop financial and tax strategies.
· Manage the capital request and budgeting processes.
· Assist in formulating the company's future direction and support and monitor tactical initiatives that support the growth strategy.
· Develop performance measures and a management reporting platform that supports the company's strategic direction.

Qualifications:
· Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
· 5+ years of progressively responsible experience for a mid to large size high growth company or division of a large corporation as a senior VP of Finance or CFO/COO role in a high-regulated industry.
· Should have experience in partnering with an executive team, and have excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Preference will be given to Diverse candidates with an MBA in Finance and the Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations as well as those with prior experience and knowledge of the cannabis regulatory environment.
· Must have a solid understanding of the Recreational Marijuana laws, rules and regulations and passion to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws.

· Must pass any, and all required background checks.
· Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
· Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
· Must be approved to receive an Agent badge.
