LBS Distribution is seeking to hire 3 Production Leads!
Job Summary:
Acts as working lead for the production of all cannabis products. Ensures finished packaged products are produced in a timely and efficient manner. Ensures the quality of finished product is at company specifications. Performs various warehouse and production line functions to support the processing and packaging of all preroll products.
Essential Functions:
- Pace setter for the team.
- Ensures support to Packaging, Preroll, Prep and Sorting teams as demand fluctuates.
- Schedules and assigns personnel to tasks based on work priority, available equipment and skill of personnel.
- Ensures accurate time shift start and compliant break & meal periods for department personnel.
- Assigns personnel to tasks and contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
- Effectively oversee personnel to ensure that all assigned activities are performed effectively and efficiently in accordance with the company’s procedures and local, state and federal regulations.
- Ensures daily and weekly production goals & requirements are met.
- Tracks, monitors and oversees inventory needs for the preroll department, communicating immediate and long term needs to the production supervisor.
- Ensures quality and consistency of raw materials used for production meets the standards of the company.
- Ensures quality and consistency of finished product meets the standards of the company and/or its affiliates.
- Ensures correct lot and date codes and correct compliance testing are on all finished products.
- Ensures personnel have adequate and necessary training in tasks assigned to them.
- Evaluates safety consciousness, participation and overall work attitude.
- Ensures safe work practices.
- Records and reviews Work Order raw and finished goods reporting against target and ensures accuracy of data.
Qualifications:
- Basic arithmetic.
- Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work positively in a team environment.
- Must be detail oriented and have basic problem solving skills.
- Must have basic documenting and reporting skills.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Proficient knowledge of all production equipment setup, clean out and problem solving techniques.
- Proficient knowledge of all company product quality control standards and operating procedures.

LBS Distribution is seeking a Full-time Distribution Associate to add to our team!
Summary:
A Distribution Associate performs a variety of shipping and receiving tasks such as assisting in coordinating incoming and outgoing deliveries of bulk cannabis, soft goods, finished goods, loading and unloading company products, checking and inspecting loads received or staged for accuracy/visual damage, data entry, maintaining records, cycle counts and other duties as needed.
Responsibilities Include:
- Check weights and documentation of incoming and outgoing cannabis shipments
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing products
- Verify the Chain of Custody is complete per the Supply Chain Dept. and Bureau of Cannabis Control standards
- Ensure the organization of raw goods and finished goods inventory
- Responsible for performing inventory cycle counts of raw & finished goods and providing physical inventory reports as needed
- Prepare and organize raw goods for daily production
- Check issued raw goods in and out of the cage
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-year experience with shipping, receiving and planning
- Knowledge of company products, weights and case /pallet counts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties
- Ability to work positively in a team environment
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Must have excellent documentation skills
- Basic arithmetic, MS Word and Excel proficiency
- Familiar with UID / Metrc tags and processes

Ability to manage all phases of production and quality control. Responsibilities also include but not limited to recruiting, hiring and training personnel, annual budget planning, cap ex planning, facility automation planning/development and maintenance.**Responsibilities Include:
- Continuous improvement through Implementation of new ideas to improve efficiency and quality.
- Communicates short and long term production / company goals.
- Oversees the efficient and productive use of operational resources and personnel.
- Works to ensure all members of the production team are aware of safety policies to provide a safe workplace.
- Analyzes data to support raw material supply and finished good demand.
- Maintains appropriate inventory levels and controls the flow of product between other Truth facilities. Strategizes with all departmental teams to expedite the flow of material to meet production schedule and customer demand.
- Reviews documents and work orders needed for production
- Proficient with the use of automated manufacturing equipment.
- Participate in equipment investment decisions and testing.
- Ensure personnel have adequate and necessary training in tasks assigned to them.
- Coordinates the hiring and training of all operational personnel.
- Evaluates overall employee morale and work attitude to ensure a positive team environment.
- Conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching and guidance to all operations employees
- Enforces consistent application of company policy in personnel matters and work practices.
- Monitors operating expenses and researches ways to reduce costs while maintaining product quality.
- Develops, improves and maintains relationships with company vendors.
- Assists in the development of production strategies and improvements.
- Proficient in all line operator and mixing specialist quality control procedures and safety checks.
- Ensures the quality aspect of all raw materials, packaging and finished goods meets company standards

- Ensures that all Production and Bureau of Cannabis Control regulations are upheld.
Qualifications:
- Experience with standard manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in applicable field preferred
- 3-5 years experience as a production or operations manager
- minimum 3 years experience managing team
- Six-Sigma and Lean manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience working with ERP systems and MS Office of Google Suite application
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of forecasting system, ERP system and Microsoft office products; strong computer skills
- Strong organizational, communicating and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow through assignments with minimum direction and demonstrate personal time management skills.
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify solutions to problems
- Ability to direct and manage subordinates.
- Knowledge of state and federal safety laws provided by EHS&S.
- Ability to operate machinery and equipment.
- Strong documenting and reporting skills.
