General Statement of Responsibilities:
The Site EHS Manager will be responsible for partnering with on site operations team in an agriculture setting to execute company safety policies and ensure compliance to all applicable local and regional regulations. By leveraging lean principles and kaizens methods, lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk in our processes to ensure a safe and healthful working environment for our employees. A successful Site EHS Manager will demonstrate the ability to build trust and confidence with the Operations Team and inspire change through providing comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis.
The Site EHS Manager must be an effective communicator and send clear, concise and consistent messages, both verbally and in writing. You will instruct and train Operations Leaders in company safety policies and assist the operations site teams in incorporating our safety standards at their site. You will work to identify best practices and incorporate these standard methodologies into our standards to continuously improve the safety landscape. The Site EHS Manager will possess excellent safety program knowledge as well as environmental and ergonomic knowledge and be able demonstrate this expertise when working with Operations.
Principal Duties: Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:
Measurement of sites’ performance against published requirements in safety policies.
Analyze safety metrics and review incident weekly and monthly incident trends to discover trends to rationalize the allocation of appropriate resources to areas where the safety risk is highest.
Perform frequent site safety audits to identify all non-compliance equipment and/or processes at the site. Implement solutions to eliminate exposure to these risks and prevent injuries
Serve as primary Emergency Action Plan Coordinator;
Update facility Emergency Action Plan (EAP) as-needed;
Achieve and maintain conformance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing workplace health and safety including but not limited to:
- Storage and use of hazardous materials
- Equipment operation
- Machine guarding
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Emergency procedures
Educates employees in proper safety procedures, safe work practices and policies.
Schedule and conduct routine safety meetings;
Schedule and conduct facility safety drills;
Liaison with local emergency service providers;
Liaison with contracted risk managements consultants;
Provide routine reports regarding known issues, including corrective action(s);

Quality Assurance Supervisor

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities of the QA Supervisor includes approving standard methods and procedures related to the production, processing, packaging, labeling and storage of cannabis. QA personnel are also responsible for the approval and release of all cannabis batches prior to their sale to clients, as well as associated maintenance of complete and auditable batch records. In an effort to assure best manufacturing practices and product safety, the QA department additionally is empowered to initiate product recalls, investigate complaints related to quality, investigate quality issues within the facility, perform audits (internal and external) and assist in the training and skill development of employees in all departments.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES: Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:
- Understanding of all QA SOPs prior to their implementation
- Keep and maintain an auditable batch record
- Prepare, package and send promotional samples for dispensary locations
- Prepare and send samples for third-party testing
- Communicate with the third-party lab regarding any questions or concerns
- Review third party lab results
- Compile, approve and release batches for sale to clients
- Initiate recall protocols
- Investigate client complaints and returned product when related to the quality of the product, and initiate established corrective actions and remediation protocols
- Work well, professionally, and effectively with fellow co-workers
- Supervise QA Technicians during the execution of their duties
- Evaluation and display of company metrics for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Costs for the QA Inspection Team

- Maintain accurate records of all materials received for inspection, inspection results, samples submitted, pending test results and received test results

QUALIFICATIONS: The QA supervisor must be a critical thinker, detail-oriented, and be able to follow state regulations and company policies. Qualified applicants will also have advanced experience with computers and MS Office suite. Having a scientific education is recommended, but not required. Where scientific education is not available, equivalent experience working with cannabis, food service/safety, and management of employees is expected. Ideal candidates possess the ability to fluidly express their thoughts and ideas to fellow coworkers, managers and state inspectors.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Training and Engagement Specialist will be responsible for training skills, knowledge, and effective leadership behaviors to newly hired and current employees. This will be done by providing on the job education, developing enhanced education and materials, and to keep everyone up to date on changes in the industry that affect their jobs. Training will be done in different formats: seminars, team exercises, online videos, and team building events. Provides continuous education in technology advancements, the latest findings from research and development and changes in the industry. This position will have responsibilities in employee engagement. Teach classes and procure outside training services as needed to support established training programs and company culture.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES: Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:
- Conducts training for leadership team, managers and supervisors, and front-line employees.
- Leads training programming in all facilities for Copperstate Farms both in Phoenix and Snowflake.
- Works with management to schedule training programs for all employees.
- Works to keep training programs vibrant and entertaining in order to engage employees and trainees.
- Leads New Hire Training and On-Boarding Process
- Leads Patient Advocate Training and creates programming for advancement in knowledge of cannabis, cannabinoids, and terpenes.
- Ensures that all training materials and programs are compliant with laws and regulations governing the industry.
- Provides online and conference call training session for offsite employees.
- Recommends management strategies to administration that are targeted for specific departments with the goal of increasing efficiency and effectiveness and generating increased revenues.
- Prepares training materials and presentations for employees and with the approval of management. Places all such materials and presentations into a Shared Drive.
- Creates monitoring strategies to ensure that employees are performing job duties according to training.
- Develops status reports to monitor employee performance and response to training.
- Liaise with managers to determine training needs and schedule training sessions
- Design effective and highly engaging training programs
- Conduct seminars, workshops, individual training sessions etc.
- Prepare educational material such as module summaries, videos etc.

Responsible to be the brand champion for Copperstate Farms and Sol Flower, ensuring that we attract, hire and retain people who contribute to our company’s growth.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES: Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:
- Source candidates on job boards, resume databases, professional networks and through referrals;
- Interview candidates at various stages of the hiring process (phone screening calls, video interviews and in-person meetings) to obtain information on work history, training, education, or job skills.
- Use skill assessment tools and tests to screen candidates

The Safety Assistant will promote the Company’s commitment towards safety to all employees. Assist with data collection on work environments for analysis by Safety Officer. TITLE: Quality Assurance (QA) Supervisor

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities of the QA Supervisor includes approving standard methods and procedures related to the production, processing, packaging, labeling and storage of cannabis. QA personnel are also responsible for the approval and release of all cannabis batches prior to their sale to clients, as well as associated maintenance of complete and auditable batch records. In an effort to assure best manufacturing practices and product safety, the QA department additionally is empowered to initiate product recalls, investigate complaints related to quality, investigate quality issues within the facility, perform audits (internal and external) and assist in the training and skill development of employees in all departments.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES: Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:
- Understanding of all QA SOPs prior to their implementation;
- Keep and maintain an auditable batch record;
- Prepare, package and send promotional samples for dispensary locations;
- Prepare and send samples for third-party testing;
- Communicate with the third-party lab regarding any questions or concerns;
- Review third party lab results;
- Compile, approve and release batches for sale to clients;
- Initiate recall protocols;
- Investigate client complaints and returned product when related to the quality of the product, and initiate established corrective actions and remediation protocols;

Oversee the overall management of the greenhouse (including labor and consumables), maintenance of the greenhouse facilities and systems and ensuring that new employees are trained to the current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
PRINCIPAL DUTIES: Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:
- Assign duties and tasks to the staff and supervise them
- Work directly with the growing team to ensure that the harvest schedule and plant maintenance schedules are being followed and are on schedule
- Work with the Growing Team to select the best seeds for cultivation, the best plant nutrients, fertilizers, pesticides and the best gardening equipment.
- Constantly visit the greenhouse work areas to understand the soil conditions, inspect plants and crops and ensure that all assigned tasks are being completed on schedule
- Inspect the gardening equipment and other greenhouse facilities to check for disrepairs and maintain them properly.
- Work with the Growing Team to ensure that the cut list groups are being taken and planted at the appropriate cycles.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities of Fertilizer Technician are to ensure that fertilizer mixes are appropriately mixed to meet required specification. To ensure proper maintenance of various components of the irrigation and fertigation systems. To ensure systems work properly included but is not limited to: valves, pumps, filters, tanks, irrigation lines, aerators, and/or injectors.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES: Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:
- Weigh, measure or mix materials, fertilizer ingredients, or products to ensure conformance to mixing requirements.
- Mix or blend fertilizer ingredients for proper dosing and application
- Measure EC and PH in the fertilizer and Greenhouse measurement stations
- Measuring biocide levels
- Fertilizer Equipment Maintenance (filter/tank cleaning, basic repairs as needed) to ensure proper functioning of systems
- Operate fertilizer equipment
- Clean equipment or supplies
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:

TITLE: Quality Assurance (QA) Technician

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities of QA technicians include approving standard methods and procedures related to the production, processing, packaging, labeling and storage of cannabis. QA personnel are also responsible for the approval and release of all cannabis batches prior to their sale to clients, as well as associated maintenance of complete and auditable batch records. In an effort to assure best manufacturing practices and product safety, the QA department additionally is empowered to initiate product recalls, investigate complaints related to quality, investigate quality issues within the facility, perform audits (internal and external) and assist in the training and skill development of employees in all departments.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES: Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:
· Understanding of all QA SOPs prior to their implementation;
· Keep and maintain an auditable batch record;
· Prepare, package and send promotional samples for dispensary locations;
· Prepare and send samples for third-party testing;
· Communicate with the third-party lab regarding any questions or concerns;
· Review third party lab results;
· Compile, approve and release batches for sale to clients;
· Initiate recall protocols;

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities of the Greenhouse Harvest Supervisor (GHS) includes approving standard methods and procedures related to cultivation of cannabis, specifically relating to the deployment of personnel. GHS is also responsible for the SOPs enforcement and training. Work together with the Growing Team (Master Grower) and Greenhouse Harvest Manager in planning, forecasting and budgeting as it related to the harvest process. Responsible for appropriately staffing the greenhouse harvest team with Team Leaders and general technicians to complete the company quotas. Responsible for annual, quarterly, and monthly reviews. Responsible for ensuring the necessary equipment and materials are on hand to support the function of the greenhouse harvest operations. The GHS must be a critical thinker, larger vision for the direction of the company and be able to follow state regulations and company policies.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES: Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:
- Understanding of all Harvest-related SOPs prior to their implementation;
- Compile, approve and implement greenhouse labor strategies;
- Work with Employee and HR to initiate established corrective actions and discipline; protocols;
- Work well, professionally, and effectively with fellow co-workers;
- Supervise Greenhouse Harvest Team leader during the execution of their duties;
- Evaluation and display of company metrics for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Costs;

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the day-to-day labor of/for the cannabis plants, including the product of the plants, within the facility of Copperstate Farms.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES: Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:
- Must be able to do physical labor in all types of environments in any department within Copperstate Farms facility, such as the air-conditioned rooms within the facility, as well as the heat of the greenhouse, which can be over 100 degrees with high humidity;
- Must be able to work with and around marijuana plants and all of their bi-products;
- Work well and effectively with fellow co-workers in a productive way that is conducive to a professional work environment;
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
ACCEPTABLE EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age;
- Must be able to pass a pre employment background and fingerprint background check to get a dispensary agent card.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires prolonged sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting, and use of hands with repetitive motions;
- Frequently requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials;
- Frequently stooping, bending, and reaching;
- Must work indoors and outdoors year-round;
- Must work in noisy and crowded environments;
- Observe, see, hear and respond to directions given with effective outcome;
- Lift 25-45 pounds from the floor to a waist-high table when necessary;
- Crouch & bend often throughout;
- Stand for short/ high periods of time;
- Sit for short/ medium periods of time;
- Walk for short/high periods of time;
- Occasionally sit on the floor or at floor level;
- Frequent use of hands doing all kinds of repetitious motions;
- Handle the responsibilities and routine stress often associated with this position;
- Must be able to use all PPE equipment for each department particulars;

Extraction Lab C1D2 Technician I

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The C1D2 Technician I position is responsible for the Cannabis material intake, waste disposal, material preparation for extraction, sampling, documentation, and general within the C1D2 processing area. In addition to their principle duties, the Technician I position is expected to maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards for the C1D2 production areas as instructed.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES: Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:
- Plant material intake for the extraction process
- Manifest verification and reporting
- Plant material waste disposal post-extraction
- Physical disposal
- Disposal documentation & reporting
- Plant material preparation pre-extraction
- Grinding, Binning, Sampling
- Sample documentation & reporting
- General support functions within the C1D2 area
- Filtration support – assisting with keg transport, verification sign offs, cleanup, etc.
- Data entry associated with batch processing, cleaning, maintenance, etc.
- Cleaning of the general working area associated with your shift
- Work well and effectively with fellow co-workers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Any specific education or experience working with chemistry, within a lab environment, or performing essential oil extractions in another industry is preferred, but not required.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Direct experience or knowledge on the extraction of essential oils, proper lab etiquette, or chemistry in general.
- Direct experience working with cannabis concentrate production.
- Direct experience working with laboratory glassware.
- Direct experience working in a laboratory or GMP production setting.
- High attention to detail.
