Overview:
Brightside Scientific is a full service Cannabis & Hemp Laboratory looking for a Sales Representative to focus on meeting new clients and selling our services. They would also take an initiative in identifying new business opportunities and maintaining existing clients.
Description:
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to
Selling laboratory testing services for COA/R&D testing
Establishing, maintaining and fostering relationships with distributors, cultivators, etc. and their staff in an extremely competitive industry
Having a professional work ethic, effective communication, presentation skills and the ability to close and maintain business
Visit new leads and facilities around Southern California, servicing new and existing accounts
Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.
Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
Provide client services and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction
Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
Requirements:
Candidates should have: at least 2+ years experience in sales with proven success in the Cannabis industry, a Bachelor's degree, ability to travel most of the week, Clean driving record and pass a basic drug test.
Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Brightside Scientific Inc., an industry leading Cannabis Testing laboratory in the city of Long Beach is seeking Full-Time Microbiology Technician. The successful candidate will work in GLP and ISO 17025:2017 environment and will be responsible for all work performed in support of his/her duties. Accredited laboratory environment requires strict adherence to safety and Quality Assurance protocols. Communication with vendors, taking direction from management team is also required.
CANDIDATES WITH OVER 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE IN CANNABIS WILL BE PREFERRED.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
We are looking for accountable and responsible individuals with a friendly demeanor to join the Landau Labs team. This position requires someone who is comfortable working with cannabis. The work includes but not limited to performing routine microbiology sample processing with straight adherence to the Laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)which requires knowledge of sterility, aseptic environments and basic knowledge in biology. Training will be provided by the Laboratory staff.
Technicians will learn to use electronic instruments, analytical scales, pipettes, vortex mixers, centrifuges, aseptic techniques, specialty printers, and photography equipment. Lab Technician will also assist with sample preparation in accordance with SOPs, sample weighting, homogenization, extraction and dilution as required by the SOPs, sample organization, sample disposal, and other tasks inside the laboratory. Technicians ensure cannabis samples are prepared and processed using appropriate methods, sterile techniques, and clean tools and protective equipment wear. They will be required to adhere strictly to Safety and Quality Assurance Protocols.
We are looking for individuals who are self-starters, are comfortable with numbers, independent and reliable to join us in this exciting and dynamic industry.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; AA Degree preferred
- Coursework in Biology/Microbiology is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree a plus

- General Qualifications: Must be over 21 years old.

- Good people skills for interacting with customers and working with the scientific team; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Windows PC and Microsoft Office proficiency; and overall traits of dependability, responsibility and accountability.

Sufficient motor function to perform a variety of routine laboratory testing, move freely and safely from one location to another in the laboratory; sufficient upper body muscle coordination to collect appropriate specimens safely and accurately; dexterity to manipulate tools, instruments, and small equipment, including keyboards or other data input tools in a manner consistent with standard laboratory practices; lift and move objects of at least 20 pounds. Requires work in a laboratory environment with some exposure to noxious fumes. May be required to work with a variety of hazardous materials (acids). All applicable safety gear will be provided.
