The Cannabis Industry Associate reports directly to the manager of their daily department, which could be Cultivation, Post Harvest, Fulfillment, or all three. Job Description
The Sales Associate will serve as the primary person responsible for developing relationships within the industry and selling Galenas products to every buyer in the State of Ohio. This person is expected to work efficiently with minimal guidance, abide by established quality standards - per the Ohio Medical Marijuana Control Program, as well as internally - and maintain a safe and clean work environment with a positive, friendly, and knowledgeable attitude. Compliance with all state and local laws and regulations is required.
Responsibilities
- Position reports directly to Director of Sales
- Meet monthly sales goals as outlined by Director of Sales
- Distribute menu in accordance with Strategic Distribution Best Practices
- Create and complete all Purchase Order forms
- Develop, maintain, and distribute contact lists
- Maintain relationships with all dispensary locations on a consistent basis, including phone, email, and in-person monthly visits
- Work with Director of Cultivation to stay up-to-date on product offerings
- Work with Marketing to build Calendar of Events to drive Sales; discounts, promotions, events, festivals, etc.
- Seek out new business opportunities
