Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and following The Clinic’s established policies for sales and customer service.
Shift Lead Essential Functions:
- Focus on Customer Service. Ensure that each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a guest-friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every guest and by maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest services. Be a strong host personality on the floor and provide budtenders with strategies to improve their guest interactions. Resolve customer complaints or problems professionally.
- Focus on Merchandising and Inventory Management.Maintains all merchandising standards, display presentations, signing standards and monitor inventory levels. Keep the showroom clean and orderly. Set up advertising displays or arrange merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales. Assist with receiving orders, checking manifests, preparing inventory for sale, and accurate data entry in POS and METRC. Adhere to established inventory procedures and organizational standards.
- Focus on Compliance and Safety.Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures.
- Focus on Accountability. Plans and assigns daily goals, tasks and assignments. Effectively communicate job expectations. Foster teamwork. Maintains adherence to all company policies and procedures. Hold staff accountable for customer service standards, cash handling, attendance, task completion, and professionalism. Report any violations to General Manager/Assistant Manager.
Job Specifications:
- Knowledge and enforcement of the policies, procedures and goals of The Clinic Marijuana Center and affiliates.
- Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, management, governmental agencies, community members and the general public.
- Must have strong communication skills with the ability to express ideas clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats.
- Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, data base management, METRC, spreadsheet applications and electronic mail.
Additional Requirements:
- Colorado driver’s license or State ID card
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Must pass any and all required background checks
- Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
- Must obtain and retain a state-issued MED a key badge
Minimum Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required, some college or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, including internal experience.
Working Conditions:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: May be required to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 75 pounds (200 pounds with assistance)

The Patient Advisor is responsible for interacting with and building positive relationships with patients. S/he shall spend time with the patient and listen to their needs and concerns, and make appropriate recommendations about medicine. Therefore, the Patient Advisor must have a drive to help people and solid knowledge of the medicine as well any many other products available. S/he must be able to explain the effects of various medicines and products and explain how each one can reduce a patient’s symptoms for different ailments. Ideally, the Patient Advisor will also be computer literate and able to use POS equipment and software.
-Maintains quality customer service by establishing and enforcing company standards and handling customer inquiries and complaints
-Assist patients with choosing the right products according to their aliments
-Greets all customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
-Processing transactions
-Verify patient’s allotment and ensure they are eligible to make purchasing using the state system
-Manages inbound phone inquiries and routes calls accordingly
-Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
-Participates in ongoing education and professional development as needed
-Follows all Michigan Department of Health Services laws
-Maintain a positive attitude that promotes team-work
-Assist with administrative duties
-Performs other duties as assigned
