Position Summary:
The Account Manager is responsible for managing and directing all sales, account development and program implementation within the state of Colorado for the Company’s tobacco product(s). This role will require a great deal of travel around the state of Colorado, and potentially neighboring states, to speak with prospective customers, as well as to maintain current relationships with customers. Reporting to the VP of Sales, this role will serve as a liaison between the customers and the Company’s leadership and manufacturing team to communicate market trends in the areas and provide customer feedback for areas of improvement.
Essential Functions:
- Manage, develop and direct all sales of the Company’s tobacco product(s) in their assigned region of United States with new and assigned accounts
- Collects and analyzes competitor’s marketing information, and proposes strategic recommendations to leadership to maintain a competitive advantage in the region
- Designs and recommends, in conjunction with the division President, sales programs and strategies to increase sales and revenue of the Company’s tobacco product(s)
- Evaluates any current sales programs and strategies for effectiveness, and will propose recommendations for improvement based upon market trends and projected growth
- Partner with the marketing team to set sales objectives for Company tobacco product(s)
- Develop new accounts with customers in the assigned region
- Train any new sales representative who are assigned to the region
- Oversee the entire sales life cycle from welcoming new customers to maintenance renewals
- Prepare and conduct presentations for prospective customers to educate them on the Company’s tobacco (products), merchandising programs, data sources and marketing programs

Required Qualifications (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of work
- At least 8 years’ experience in sales, preferably with a product in a highly regulated environment/market
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Ability to form professional relationships with current and prospective customers
- Ability to exercise sound professional judgment for decision making
- Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive Company information
- Must have the ability to travel to areas within their region with little to no advance notice, including travel on nights and weekends
- Proficient knowledge of marketing strategies and sales tactics for their designated region
- Must be able to work in a professional and collaborative way with diverse teams

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for an experienced, data and strategy-driven Account Manager with a proven record of success in fostering business to business relationships to achieve both quantitative and qualitative commercial objectives, has a passion for flawless execution, is hands-on, and interested in being part of a team building a best-in-class cannabis operation to support our flagship operations in Colorado which serve as the model for our expansion states.
The Account Manager for Denver/Northern Colorado will be responsible for sales and distribution of our product portfolio and the execution of marketing initiatives within the assigned geographic territory. You will report to the Sales Manager, work closely with your peers on the team and in other departments, and develop and execute the strategy for your assignment. Your time will be spent cultivating lasting partnerships with KeyDecision Makers and influencers at dispensaries and industry events to achieve our commercial objectives, strategic goals, and grow brand love for our products with customers and Adult Cannabis Consumers.
YOU WILL...
Maintain current business and maximize portfolio distribution within current retail universe
Identify and develop new business relationships from multiple sources including inbound leads, prospect lists, discovery, and independent research
