The Store Assoicate is responsible for the initial patient interaction as well as helping with any additional tasks the dispensary needs. You are the first interaction with patients, and this may be their first experience in a dispensary. Customer service is your main responsibility, treat each patient with a positive attitude, respect, and compassion. It is a fast-paced environment that will require solid computer skills and time management to be successful.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service in accordance with established standards.
- Develop and maintain rapport with our patients, vendors, and staff.
- Ensure patients concerns and/or questions are solved and answered promptly and efficiently.
- Answer phone calls and forward to the appropriate staff member.
- Pharmacists are not always available, try to solve patient issues to limit pharmacist calls.
- Assist in display maintenance and housekeeping.
- Assist in maintaining proper visitor check in protocol.
- Dealing with upset patients and de-escalating situations.
- Facilitate the new patient and patient renewal processes.
- Assist prospective patients in working through the registration process to become a patient.
- Act as final quality check on patient paperwork while scanning into the system
- Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect.
- Maintain strictest confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Keep up with email communications
- Perform other related duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Minimum two years of administrative customer relations/customer service experience.
- Experience in the retail & health industry a plus.
- Experience communicating professionally in person, over the phone, through email, and other electronic means.
- Excellent computer proficiency/working within a point-of-sale computer system.
- Proven track record of excellent customer/patient service skills
- History of succeeding in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or GED required
- Subject to background check per state cannabis regulations
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to move around the dispensary and carry up to 20lbs
- The ability to operate a point-of-sale computer system and scanning in documents
- Sitting and answering phone calls for extended periods of time

We are looking for part time Dispensary Associates to join our team at our City Ave. Dispensary!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service in accordance with established standards.
- Develop and maintain rapport with our patients, vendors, service providers and staff.
- Ensure members' concerns and/or questions are solved and answered promptly and efficiently, and communicate member requests and/or problems to management when needed.
- Recommend, select and help locate the proper medicine for patient depending on their individual needs.
- Communicate the effects of different types of cannabis to patients clearly and effectively.
- Ensure strict controls to protect organization assets at the direction of management.
- Set up and break down display cases daily. Assist in display maintenance and housekeeping.
- Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock, and participate in inventory counts.
- Answer phone calls and forward to the appropriate staff member.
- Frequently maintain dispensary's cleanliness, i.e. dusting, glass cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping and sanitization.
- Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect.
- Maintain strictest confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Perform other related work as required.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Retail, cash handling and Point of Sales (POS) experience required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience in the medical cannabis industry desirable, but not required
- Must be 21 years old
- Subject to background check per state cannabis regulations
- Must be able to work weekends and some holidays
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient computing skills
- Innate desire to achieve success and a work ethic to match
- Ability to critically think and problem solve without direction

This position is located in Provincetown, MA - looking for seasonal employees available from May 2022-September 2022
Position Summary
The Dispensing Associate is responsible for fulfilling orders behind the retail counter and issuing pre- packaged products that have been purchased to customers. The Dispensing Associate must have a complete understanding of the use and side effects of our products. Dispensing Associate will be given the task of preparing, dispensing, distributing, and administering cannabis-based products under the direct supervision of the Dispensary Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organizes cannabis-based products to dispense; calculating quantities; preparing product labels.
- Stores and maintains inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed products and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
- Entering order information into the point-of-sale system; processing payment; finalizing customer orders.
- Responsible for inventory and cash reconciliation procedures.
- Perform new customer consultations as needed.
- Maintain compliances with the Adult Use of Marijuana Program rules and regulations.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Perform related duties as assigned by MOD.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
