The Sr. Operations Manager oversees the inventory and facilities functions for our state of
the art cultivation facility in North Adams, MA. This includes direct management of Inventory
Manager and Facilities Manager and accountability for the performance of both teams.
Reporting to the CEO, the Sr. Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that the
company effectively uses the following systems: Labor Scheduling and Forecasting Tools,
Materials and Inventory Management Systems, Production Scheduling, Product Planning
and Inventory Management (PPIM) tools, and finally Equipment, Methodologies, and
Techniques as they pertain to the manufacture, packaging, and fulfillment of our cannabis
product. Working in close collaboration with Director, Cultivation, the Sr. Operations Manager
will help to inform quality efforts and will provide feedback on strain performance for MIPs.
The Sr. Operations Manager evaluates the potential and practicality of products in
development and uses experience, judgment and ROI analysis to recommend new products
and or processes. The Sr. Operations Manager will also be responsible for ensuring that the
production facility is in an optimal state, and that the production schedule is upheld to ensure
that production deliverables reach retail and wholesale customers on-time and accurately.

- Directly supervise the Inventory Manager and Facilities Manager and provide support
and oversight to their teams
- Accountable for all Personnel Management including hiring/terminations,
performance management, and training for direct reports and skip-level reports
in the Inventory and Facilities departments
- Collaborates with Director, Cultivation on all order fulfillments including new product
releases, QC samples, and Vendor Samples to incorporate into the delivery
schedule
- Comply with, and hold all reports accountable for all applicable government regulations

- Work with Accounting on all time to task, and bill of materials for product cost
- Develop and implement compliant solutions to processes and procedures
- Implement a continuous improvement approach to all processes undertaken by
Inventory and Facilities departments, validating cost savings using analytical rigor
- Forecast Production schedule including labor, cannabinoid recovery, testing lead
time, packaging lead time etc.
- Present findings and recommendations to management, using data, including
expected outcomes and implementation plans for process changes in a concise and
persuasive manner
- Implement and monitor the deployment of process changes to assigned
functions
- Provide training and monitor team members to ensure safe and effective
implementation of process changes
- Maintain meticulous records of training activities per employee
- Identify relevant monthly metrics and present to management, track baseline and post-
implementation data
- Ensure timely and accurate updates to Company’s Standard Operating Procedures
(SOPs) and training materials such that staff can effectively deploy process changes
- Aid staff in preparing for audits and, as needed, assist state and local governmental
auditors and law enforcement with their audits
- Effectively and efficiently document, collaborate and persuade by using software and
telecommunications tools, including spreadsheets, word processing, email, calendars,
text, chat, webinars, seed-to-sale and other software, etc.

details are accurate and in compliance with state laws and industry standards
- Collaborate with Inventory Manager and retail team members to ensure orders are
packaged and ready to ship
- Recognize areas of opportunity to improve safety, product quality, food safety, cost,
