The Retail Inventory Coordinator is responsible for the overview, evaluation and execution of retail inventory policies and procedures within the PA Market. This role works in direct collaboration with the Retail District Manager, accounting, compliance, procurement ops, and other internal departments to document, implement, and monitor processes that establish controls, ownership, and accountability of involved parties related to inventory management in a SOX compliant environment. This role reports to the District Manager with a dotted line into the Area Manager.

Where you’ll be planted*
This position will be on-site in one of our Pennsylvania dispensaries. Our hours of operation vary throughout the week. This role will require availability during nights, weekends, and some holidays. This role will also require travel to other PA dispensaries.

To Be Blunt*
You will be challenged to work strategically and tactically to ensure our dispensaries are operating with best-in-class inventory policies and procedures. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Implement an inventory audit program to optimize inventory control procedures. Work closely with retail operations management to plan and execute full and cycle inventory counts across all PA Locations weekly and monthly basis.
- Serve as district expert in inventory management systems, such as MJ Freeway, QuickBooks (future Epicor), SWEED and serve as point of escalation.
- Examine the levels of products, systems vs. physical to determine shortages, to find and report root causes for process improvement.
- Prepare formal Systems vs. Physical Count Reports on inventory and provide to Management monthly.
- Monitor inventory receiving process for accuracy, completion, proper documentation, and timeliness.
- Work closely with Finance, Procurement, and Purchasing Coordinators to maintain alignment of company’s ERP, with state mandated inventory tracking program and execute inventory adjustments in the inventory management systems.
- Ability to partner, develop and share best practices across the PA teams including aligned preparedness process for EOM Inventory
- Participate (hands-on) in EOM Inventories scheduled the last Sunday of each calendar month, set work standards, reconcile, validate and execute on count results.
- Actively search for process improvements to increase throughput for EOM Inventory, cycle counts and BOH inventory standards.
- Utilize existing equipment and make recommendations for new equipment, as necessary.
- Ensure that inventory control processes follow state DOH regulations.
- Travel 40% and as needed to perform job duties. Coordinator and DM will determine the remaining daily schedule – including Home Store location.

- Continued Maintenance of Product Master List
- Communicating with Buyers and Assistant Buyers on order statuses and requests
- Confirm new product deliveries with Buyers
- Add all new Products with necessary data points including but not limited to:
- Product Name
- Category
- Strain (where necessary)
- Vendor
- Type
- Cannabis Product
- MMJ Concentration
- Total weight (edibles)
- Price
- Cost
- Pricing Tier (where necessary)
- Add new products to appropriate discounts where necessary
- Add all new bulk flower associated data points
- Add all package sizes to inventory for new bulk flower
- Point of Sales System Transition responsibilities include but not limited to;
- Get list of products they will be launching with, compare to current market Product Master and add where needed with all necessary data points
