GrowHealthy is s seeking a Production Packaging Manager. GrowHealthy Production Packaging Manager will organize and oversee the manufacturing/packaging of goods. You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all packaging lines and the quality of output. We expect you to have in-depth knowledge in production & packaging procedures. Ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills based on lean manufacturing principles. At GrowHealthy, the goal is to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets our outstanding quality standards for our patients’ requirements. This position will be based out of our Lake Wales, Florida Production Facility.
Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities.
Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements
Assist in estimating costs and preparing budgets
Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
Monitor production to resolve issues
Supervise and evaluate performance of production Team Members
Determine and present facts to support necessary resources (workforce, raw materials, equipment, etc.)
Identify maintenance work needed, make recommendations for purchasing of equipment, etc.
Implement health and safety precautions
Confirm output meets quality standards
May require use of respirator in the workplace to protect against exposure to occupational dusts, fumes, mists, gases, and vapors; medical clearance and fit testing may be required before use of respirator
Able to lift a minimum of 25-lbs.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Reports to Director of Operations
Required Experience, Education and Skills
Proven experience as a Production Manager
Deep knowledge of Production Management
Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
Experience in reporting on key production metrics
Ability to work alternating day and evening shifts on a rotating basis
Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
Outstanding communication ability
Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
Attention to detail
Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
BSc/Ba in business administration or relevant field is preferred

Jahlibyrd is seeking an experienced Production and Packaging Manager to manage the direction and oversight of our production facility. Candidates should have a strong agricultural background, a deep understanding of agricultural management, product management, packaging management, as well as managing people and teams. This candidate should be trustworthy, self-driven, and ready to execute. Jahlibyrd is seeking candidates with high levels of integrity and who are eager to take full ownership of their position. Candidates will create and keep up to date best practice Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that ensure consistency and regulatory compliance. This individual should have excellent organizational and communication skills and should have experience in a highly regulated production environment.
Compensation:
$42,000
Responsibilities:
- Manages the entire production process and facility
- Coordinate the operations including, but not limited to: crew management, facility and equipment maintenance
- Ensure personnel actions including scheduling, training and providing necessary equipment to fulfill job responsibilities, is completed in an appropriate manner
- Manage intake of all flower products including proper storage and processing procedures
- Assist in launching new products and maintaining efficient processes for successful projects.
- Creation of all SKUs
- Ensure that production schedules are met
- Oversee quality control
- Report daily metrics to senior management
- Coordinate with other key stakeholders (sourcing, distribution, sales, inventory) to ensure seamless production cycle
- Interact and ensure and smooth transition from sourcing to packing operations meeting all internal company and customer quality standards.
- Prepare accurate reports for organizational leadership
- Planning of production and packaging schedules based on demand
- Supervise and provide support to the production and packaging teams to ensure goals are met or exceeded
- Oversee preparation and execution of purchase orders to ensure adequate supplies while staying within budget
- Write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all activities within the department
- Interface with third party laboratory to facilitate product testing
- Maintain an extremely sterile work environment
- Facilitate interdepartmental and wholesale transfers of product
- Maintain strict compliance with all relevant regulations
- Hold regularly scheduled employee training
- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure cohesion and meet company goals
Qualifications:
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office – strong Excel skills required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative nature and ability to work well with others.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to get things done and make decisions in an autonomous work environment without extensive oversight
- Management experience a must
- Positively contribute to the company’s mission, vision, strategies and quality programs by possessing a strong work ethic
- At least 3+ years experience in production management
- Ability to develop and strictly adhere to protocols
- Ability to work nights and weekends as necessary
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
